Cybersix
 

Cybersix was my childhood badass show. I used to stay up to 9:30 pm (!!!) to watch it. If you're not familiar with it, I'm not surprised. It was a thirteen episode long superhero series on Teletoon in the late 90's, so it's pretty obscure
But it's worth checking out

The animation is stunning, the music moody and thematic. The characters oddly realistic, at least for a superhero show (Lucas seems like a real "hot" teacher etc). Akin to Batman in it's style, though not exactly the same.

Overall a great, though brief, show. It was cancelled for being too expensive and the issues of the cross dressing main character.

Anyone else remember this show?

I went through 6 pages of the Media forum, and once results started showing up from almost two years ago, I think it's safe to start a new thread

damn I miss that show. Cybersix was one of the few shows I loved to death as a kid.

A couple years ago Teletoon brought it back for like 3 weeks to show the episodes, and by god if I wasn't sitting in front of the tv, it was being recorded. *laughs*

But that shows what a great show it was. The fact that I adored it as a child, and then at least 13 years later I still remembered it enough to watch it again, and it was still just as fantastic as I remembered.

Lucas and Data-7 were my favorite characters. But Julian was fun too. Not to mention Cybersix/Adrian was one of the best superhero role models.

:D I loved Cybersix! Best hero show ever for me! :/ that may be why i cant really watch any other hero type shows like batman and justice league. I loveed it! I remeber when teletoon brought it back for a few weeks. I watched it all! and the theme song! XD so catchy i still remember it!

It is really too bad this show doesn't get very much recognition, since it isn't just nostalgia that makes it so great.

Julian was THE character in that show, selon moi xD But I really likes Jose too. I just liked everyone actually. It's a god cast of characters

Oh gosh! I still love Cybersix. It's on my bucket list to collect all of the graphic novels. Though I'm not sure you can even get them in English, since it was an Argentine publication.
