I watch too many movies

And when I say I watch too many, I mean that I go to the theatres too often. There's a theatre in town where all 2D movies are $10, and I have a rewards card for the other theatre, so I can get a certain movie cheap each week. That basically means that I see at least a movie each week.

How often do you guys go to the theatres, if you do at all? Does it cost much where you live?

I go to the movies almost never. I saw the Hobbit in January, but that was the first movie I had seen in theaters since... uhm... *coughcoughtwilightcoughhackseppuku*

The theater experience is fun, but I usually can't justify the cost. There will be a few movies a year that I think "oh, that I have to see in theaters!" but then I never get around to it and before I know it, it's being released on DVD. [lol]

As for cost... My Hobbit ticket was about $10, and that was a little bit after it had came out and it wasn't in 3D. I consider that to be a lot of money, though.

Ten bucks isn't so bad, considering that the DVD will be $8 at best to hire as a new release in most shops. At least here. But it's probably a different story in other places.

I hardly ever go to the movies because of the price here, in the morning it's around 8 dollars but at night it's 13 dollars. [gonk]
I think the last movie I went to go see was Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2. [XD] And the amount of annoying people make me want to not even go at all.

I don't usually go to the watch a movie at the cinema unless a friend or group of friends ask me to go watch a movie with them.

I rarely go to new movies because there aren't any that really take my fancy anymore. We don't get the whole range of new movies here so we just have the ultra big screen films. I wish we had a revival theatre/house or something, that would be so cool.

My mum keeps urging me to go to the movies and just see a film that I wouldn't picture me seeing and see if I enjoy it. Sorry, it's just too expensive! It's $14 with a student card for a non 3D film. I don't want to waste my money.

Nah, we have Redbox here where one day rentals are $1.20. I can't justify going to the theaters when that's an option!

I rarely if ever make the trip to the movie theaters. I don't much care for the bustling shambling hordes of movie-goers x3. Plus, my friends always go and see the film in 3D. I get headaches when I watch 3D >.<.

Oh well, I'll just enjoy the film from the comfort of my own couch a few months later!

A friend of mine (who's been deployed) always loved to go to the movies. All the time. There's something about going to see a movie in a theater, I just don't think it's clicked with me. Still, I'll probably go see a film with him when he's back in town.

I go to the movies perhaps once every several months, the last movie I watched was almost a year ago actually, Men and Black 3. I was disappointed ):
I download most of the movies I watch in Blu Ray and watch it in our TV
