Omg I just watched the most recent episode and it was SO GOOD. It's pretty great to learn more about Crane's past and, well, how he came to be buried in a cave, as well as about more of the supernatural groups in Sleepy Hollow. And Crane called Abbie, well, Abbie and ohmygod so many feels!!

I play a lot of Assassin's Creed, so I spent ages going "Templars... Good????" But it was a fantastic episode and I can't wait for this week's.

*Falls over because of how good episode 7 was* It was funny and emotional, and the whole "ichabod vs. the modern world" was treated as more than just a joke, which is something that I was surprised and delighted by. Argh, it was just so good.

It's so good. And Brooks is great, and Ichabod is such a good character, like wow. Also the Captain, whose name I always forget.. wow. Everyone is so well characterised.

I think the absolute best thing about all of this stuff that is happening is that the way Ichabod was presented, as knowing more than anyone else, being super chivalrous and restrained, all of that is being torn the fuck down. He makes all these terrible and irrational decisions and you realise that he's trying to fool himself into thinking that he's what he considers to be a gentleman. It's amazing characterisation. It's not often you see a protagonist that is built up that way. And have you noticed that whenever he tells a story about the past he shifts the blame or tells it through kind of rose tinted glasses? And then when he does take the blame he's being overdramatic. It's so good.

:( This makes me sad I love Sleepy Hallow, but unfortunately for me and my boyfriend Dish our
tv provider decided to withhold some basic channels and it just so happens they are withholding the channel Sleepy Hallow airs on. It makes me so angry. We've been watching since the beginning and once they came back from the break Dish dropped the channel. :c I can't wait till our contract with them is up. |

I think it's probably both. Like the actors are great, and so are the characters, and the storylines. It's just such a good show.
