Who's looking forward to the premiere of season 9? I know I am![squee]

Also, I have this vague feeling that there are only going to be 10 seasons? Does anyone know more about this?

Sorry I got to this late...

I am really excited, and I liked the first episode. I was pleased that they have an angel other then Castiel, who, at least on the surface, does not seem to be a jerk.

I'm eager to see what happens with Crowely too. Is he still going to be halfway "Cured"? I guess I'll find out in a little while....

I just watched episode 2. Loving that Sam and Dean are using superhero aliases instead of rockstar ones.. I guess they ran out?

I also loved that shot where Ezekiel took over Sam's body and you could see the skeleton wings on the wall. That was really freaking cool.

I watched it this morning, and I loved it.

I loved that the wings were there but damaged.
The other thing I loved was the girl hunter whose name I can't rember being standoffish with sam and bring up his past. I never quite got how it went to from hunters hating Sam and wanting to kill him to hunters getting along with them.

I have an plot bunny for a fanfic that I will probably never write, as I have never actually written fanfiction, where Ezekial is actually Lucifer, somehow released from the cage by the spell, being sneaky. It very silly, and I doubt it is where the story is going to go, altough I do think Ezekial is hiding something.

From the previews, it looks like the next episode will focus on Castiel, which has me excited.

I've seen that theory about Ezekiel thrown around before, actually! It's pretty intriguing.
And Tracy (I'm pretty sure that's her name) was pretty fantastic. I hope she sticks around some more.
Actually I hope she meets Charlie. Now that would be a good episode.

I'd certinly watch that episode!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the posibilities. I kind of miss Lucifer as a character. His matter of fact evil, vs. his manipulative persuasion is always interesting.

I'm really excited about everything this season because I only started season one in January, so this is the first season I've watched as it airs. It's really tense!

I started watching it as it came on rather than DVD about the 3rd episode of Season 7. It is frustrating to have to wait for the next episode, rather then stay up all night to find out what happens next...

Exactly that! I think I watched season 8 in about 4 days, I was so worried about what would happen next.

I watched Seasons 2-6 in about three weeks because I had to know what happened next.
I think the fourth and fifth seasons were my favorite...
Do you have a favorite character?
For me it's a toss up between Castiel and Gabriel.

My favourite is Charlie. I don't often relate to characters as well as I can relate to her. Especially not in shows like Supernatural.

Even though she's not my favorite, she's probably the one I identify with most in the show.

I was absolutly delighted that they showed a LARP in a favorable light. I particularly loved that it was a LARPer who noticed that their badges were fake, when police and other officials have consistantly accepted them.

I would have thought so too, but I'm guessing not, since Dean called Kevin, who initially seemed to have no idea what to do even if it did work out in the end. It didn't seem like they had planned that out ahead of time, but I could be wrong.
