Tokusatsu
 

So, I was wondering who here likes watching Tokusatsu genre movies and tv series from Japan? I mainly watch the Kamen Rider and Sentai series, but I've started watching Garo as well and I might begin watching others. I'm making this post because I know almost no one else that's into Tokusatsu. My girlfriend, star2000shadow, dislikes when I bring it up and my other friend puts up with it. So it would be nice to meet some people I can just talk to about Tokusatsu.

I had to google this to find out what it was, and I've seen Warning from Space, but I don't think I've seen any other major ones.

Giant Monster flicks are Tokusatsu. Let me put it like this, if you've see any Japanese live action movie or TV Series that has a lot of special effects, you've seen a Tokusatsu genre show or movie. Godzilla, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai (Stock footage from Sentai's fight scenes are used to make Power Rangers) are all Tokusatsu.
