I've never understood why someone would left during a movie if it was just bad.. or maybe I just haven't seen a really bad movie in the theater? Maybe in my country the selection is so narrow the bad movies won't make it to the theater?
I remember I went to see Brothers Bloom and I loved it so much (later I saw it again and I understand it has it's problems, like say, at least five endings haha), and the first person I talked about it with said it was so awful they left. I mean.. even if it was badly constructed at the end it wasn't THAT bad! |
I hardly ever watch movies..only documentaries really, although there are some pretty bad docs out there. And I haven't seen a movie in theaters in at least 5 years (too expensive and you can't pause it if you have to pee :c)
But I actually sat through "The Core". I still feel like some douchey meathead whenever I remember watching that movie. And the second Human Centipede literally made me nauseous for two days after watching it. It's only purpose is to emotionally drain you and make you want to vomit and scrub your eyes with steel wool. |
I don't know if this has been posted but it's a bad, good movie:

The last Air Bender- I kept on correcting the name pronunciations in the theater because Aangs and sokkas names were being mis pronounced I would have walked away from the movie but I had paid for the movie and it was what my friend wanted to see. The acting was also pretty bad.
Resident Evil Extinction- i watched it thinking yeah this movies going to be good because i liked the first two but no it wasn't there was only maybe three of four scenes where there was any action, I was completely disappointed with this movie. Eragon- I love the books to this series and I thought it was going to be just as good and it wasn't there was scenes that didn't make sense. Percy Jackson and the Lightening thief- I read the books a little and the movie was way off base and it did not even coincide with the books, I actually stopped in the middle of the movie and walked away from it. There are probably many more movies that I have seen and walked away from but I can't think of them. These movies just stuck with me. |
Ah, this thread again.
I recently watched the original Fright Night annnnd... bleh. I can see why people like it. I really do. I liked a lot of it. But the main character is a freaking dumbass, and I can't stand stupid main characters. [gonk] |
