I went and seen 30 Days of Night. It was awesome. Those were the scariest Vampires I've ever seen. There was blood everywhere. Mawhwwhaa

If you've read the comic book and liked it then you'd love the movie. And if you haven't read the book you'll love the movie anyways. It was a good movie to have come out so close to Halloween. :D

5/5

I recently saw 1408, scared me shitless only because I do not enjoy seeing disfigured bodies or dead people. Other than that I absolutely loved it, a great movie. 10/10 purely for scaring the hell out of me.

Last I saw was Transformers at my house and well I give it a C because it was funny but also gave me a snore too so yeah ...

The last movie I saw was Reeker. I give it a 2, because it was really stupid. xD The only reason I even gave it a rating is because it was funny, even though it was supposed to be a horror film.

30 Days of Night

I give it a 4.5/5 Wonder if anyone agrees with me? It was a lot better then I expected and I actually got emotional at parts, heh..

Last night, I finally got around to seeing "Mr. Brooks", which, I will admit, did not seem like the sort of movie that I usually go for. I was watching it on a recommendation, though, and I'm definitely glad I did. It's quite suspenseful and very creepy without a whole lot of gore - though there is some. I'd say it's primarily a psychological movie, though; they do a good job bringing you into Mr. Brooks' head with William Hurt actually playing his alter ego. The film did have its flaws, though, particularly by trying to cram in another storyline that did not feel anywhere near as strongly presented or as necessary as the film's other goings on. But overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Almost wanted to sleep with the lights on XD

Actually the last movie I saw was the 3D version of Nightmare Before Christmas. : D Best Halloween movie ever. Sadly I’d only give the 3D version 3 out of 5 stars. I was let down by the 3D effects. I realize it’s probably hard making older movies into 3D, but still…. My opinion is skip the 3D version (unless you just want to watch it on the big screen), and just go buy the movie. : D

The last movie I saw was thirty days of night. It was definatley my favorite movie. I would give this move two thumbs up, the perfect vampire thriller.

I saw Mr. Brooks...I really liked it and I love those types of movies...though it would have been great to see what happened to his daughter.

Transformers... I saw it in theaters, but just watched it on DVD. It's complete awesomeness! I give it a 50 out of 10. lol

... I'm such a geek... 8)

Licensed to Wed was my in-flight movie the other day. It had its amusing points, and some going points on what /not/ to do. Robin Williams was severely toned down from his usual self, and it was mostly one of his more serious roles. It worked for an in-flight movie, but I'm not inspired to run out and see it again. I guess I'd give it 6/10 - not bad, but not quite good either.

28 weeks later. It was so awesome. I'd give it about a 8/10. It loses some points because the reason it all happened was stupid. But besides that the zombies were cool!

The last movie I saw was a Korean film, Wishing Stairs. It was a-ok. I like Asian horror films. :)

Last movie I saw was 3:10 to Yuma. I have one word....orgasmic. It was so flippin' good!!! Man, I'm definitely buying that on DVD. Highly recommended even if you don't like Western genres. The action was tight and it made me want to be a cowboy. xD. Anyhow, 12/10. The acting was fantastic.

The last movie I saw was a private screening of "Into The Wild". No this movie is not about animals, although it does have animals IN it. This movie is about a boy/man who is tired of societies money hungry ways. His whole life his father and mother drove him and his sister to perfection all because of them being "rich". He and his sister grew up with their father abusing their mother and at one point the mother yelled "Kids! Come look what your father is doing to me!" The father responds with "Oh kids, look what your mother is making me do!" His sister cried and he the elder holds her close. Eventually he runs away planning on living in Alaska. He meets many people on his way there, one group he even came to call family. There is nudity and swearing in this movie (breasts, bottoms, penises). We went as a English class to watch this film. It was sad because in the end he found true happiness without any money at all and ended up dying of starvation not because he did not have any food, but because he misread a book on plants. It may have said "Potato plant", but this plant was nothing near that. It is an inedible plant, poisonous in fact. This plant when eaten coats your stomach so that you cannot digest anything and going untreated can lead to starvation and death. He changed many peoples lives for the better including his own families lives. This was a true story and the bus in the movie was either the actual bus, or a replica. The way people knew it was him was there was his diary/story as well as his body found by hunters. His body was identified by an undeveloped picture found in his camera that he took of himself. This movie was sad and very true in what it had said, it had also made me think differently about our society now; and what we all have become.

I give this movie a 11/10.

The last movie I saw was Stardust, which I watched yesterday together with one of my best friends. ^_^
I liked it. I REALLY did and I can only recommend that film xD
9/10 for it ^__^

Total Recall... maybe a 3 because it's an old Arnie movie, but man was it on crack. :?

Shimawa_zen 11-03-2007 05:33 PM

The last movie I saw was a Japanese anime film called Paprika. It was a pretty original film, and the music gets stuck in your head. It has to do with the invention of a machine that allows people to enter and influence the dreams of others, and what happens when that device falls into the wrong hands. I liked the fluidity between the dream world and the awake world, and I liked some of the characters. I also liked that it featured a strong heroine. I think that I'd give it a 7.5/10. If you like unusual films, this is a good one to see.

Teshia 11-03-2007 08:29 PM

Last movie I saw was yesterday I watched Princess Mononoke. I love this movie simply because it is by Hayao Miyazaki, all of his films have female heroines mostly because he is a feminist. Even in his studio the womens washroom has flowers, pictures, beautiful tiles, and is very spacious. ANYWAYS, this movie was great because of the characters and the plot. Some parts made me very sad, this movie is also an Anime movie so if you like them watch this one! ♥

The Last movie i saw was Studio Gholbi's Whisper of the Heart and i watched it yesterday for like the 400th time... haha. It was really really good. I'd say that i'd give it whatever the highest rating i could give it would be...a 10/10...but i sorta like that kinda movie it was really fluffy with love and stuff like that...i guess i'm just into that kind of movie. yep.

I've watched a Thai film 'Dorm'. It's not the usual Asian horror films, the 'scare factor' is minimal though it does have its creepy moments. The story is about a boy who was sent to a dormitory school, the other boys claimed that it was haunted by ghosts etc. but a boy some years ago did drown in the old swimming pool and was rumored to be haunting the very dorm which the new boy was sent to. It's a nice film, with a bit of family drama, about friendships and I'll rate it an 8 for the excellent acting of the young boys and story execution. :D

The last movie I saw was the latest version of Phantom of the Opera that came out about 2 years ago (I know, I am behind in my movies). I have seen the play, and a few of the old movies, but not for many years, so it was nice to see more. This movie interpretation was alright. I think my favorite special effect was at the beginning when they made the transitions from the dusty old theatre into the theatre when it was in business. Of course, one of the best parts of the Phantom of the Opera is always the music. Its so hauntingly beautiful! I liked some of the voices better in previous versions, but I still thought that all the voices were decent in this one. Overall, I guess I'd give it a 7/10 - it was good, but I think I prefer the play.

The last movie I saw was Hamlet with Kenith Branna(sp.). I really liked it! It was about 4 and a half hours long but well worth it. There were so many amazing actors in it.

Since I love Shakespear I'll give it 4.5/5 stars.
