I've watched 'The Mist'. I liked it, only the ending left me depressed. T_T
I love Stephen King's books, so whenever any of them makes it to films, I watch them. :3

I saw Perfect Stranger last night.
Interesting movie.
Like most thriller movies,
A total twist at the end.
It was very strange,
But pretty good.
4/5 Stars

The last movie I watched was Enchanted :3. Oh my, even though it was a little cheesy at times, it was better than all of the other chick flicks that I've seen ^^. The ending was probably not the best for children clinging on to fairy tale norms, but I'm glad the script was written thus =]. Highly recommended, probably more for girls than guys XD. If you like jazz like my boyfriend, you'll probably like it a bit too >w< -insert song somewhere in the middle of the movie-.
9.5/10!

The last movie that I have watched would be Some Kind of Wonderful. Its very good, but it is definately a romantic 80s teen movie. Not that I have anything against it, it just that I want to have a tad more action than it did.
It'll get around a 8.5 or 9/10. Somewhere around there.

Last Friday a bunch of friends and I went to see The Golden Compass. I haven't finished the book yet (perhaps over winter break), but I really enjoyed the movie. It had great actors, great music, great CG, and beautiful settings. It felt very well developed, with attention paid to the details. The parallel universe it takes place in was really brought vividly to life in the movie. The story itself of course really draws you in. I know that there are elements of these books that are a bit controversial, but sometimes things that are controversial only increase in value because of that. There are important themes and ideas in this book/movie that should be explored. I'd give it at least 9/10.

Beowulf was the last cinema movie I watched ..
It did have a few entertaining aspects and the
graphics were amazing . [ :3 TEEHEE , COMPUTERISED NAKED ANGELINAA JOLIEE , OHMY . ]
Strangely, it does not seem to exceed the book in value though and ..
I found the last scene where Jolie and the other man were staring eye to eye was like waiting for the gumball to roll out of the gumball machine rolling on a never-ending slope.
Overall : 3.7/5

The last movie I saw was Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conquerer of Shamballa. It was a good movie expect it was kind of sad in my opinion. I would like to watch it again later. It is like the continued story of the anime Fullmetal Alchemist. I would give the movie 9.5/10.

For an in-flight movie, I saw Stardust. It was kind of cute in its own romantic-fantasy-comedy sort of way. The special effects weren't bad, and the story kept my interest and curiosity, although it was a bit predictable. It was creative world, and had multiple plots that wove their way together throughout the course of the movie. I'd give it a 7/10.

Last movie I went to go see was this past weekend - I went to go see I Am Legend with Will Smith. Personally, I've been a fan or Smith for years and I have never not enjoyed his acting. The way he managed to portray a man alone for three years who had nothing but a dog and his science for company was amazing. He did a great job. The rabid people were a little lacking and reminded me greatly of 30 days of night vampires - but other than that I don't have any complaints :D I give it an 8.5/10

- The last movie I saw was The Goonies, always going to be a favorite, so uh.. 5/5 for me. :3
The last movie I saw in theaters was The Golden Compass.
It was a disappointing movie, and it totally butchered the book.
3/5. Maybe even less. D:

1048. I expected a lot from this movie, since it's from one of Stephen King's books.
But then it was just all okay.
I still find it scary, though. I get scared at anything.
Anyway, yeah, it was just okay.
Maybe even nice.
I don't know. I'm not sure.
But horror movies aren't really my type.

"Secret Window" again another movie based on Stephen King's book. Johnny Depp playing as the main character was a very pleasant surprise, he played the role really well. The movie is all about a writer Mort Rainey who is unkempt, antisocial, lives in a very secluded place near a lake, far away from civilization as possible. One day, a visitor charged him with plagiarism and Mort felt threatened by this man, things started to feel dangerous when somebody killed Mort's dog and leaves notes pinned on the walls...Mort is also struggling from personal issues involving his wife who cheated on him.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie. Watching Johnny in that role was certainly refreshing. :D

The love story is cliche, but this movie is really entertaining. I just love how they brought these fairy tale characters to the real world.
I was laughing throughout. XD

I saw Sweeny Todd this afternoon, and I have to say I loved it XD All of the actors really worked well together - both in terms of stage presence and singing. I was especially impressed by Ed Sanders, the little boy; according to IMDB, that was his first movie, and if he can keep performing like that, I'm sure he's got a great career ahead of him! I really liked the cinematography, too. It really did a lot for the mood of the film. For those bothered by lots of blood (or for those who love it), there's definitely quite a lot of splatter to be seen. A very sick, twisted, dark, and awesome 9/10.

I saw Beowulf about a month ago (because I don't go see movies very often) and I honestly didn't like it at all. Then again I had just finished reading the book and the movie was horribly inaccurate. So I would give it a 1/5 at best.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Sweeney Todd at a midnight showing. Despite an incompetent projectionist who put the reel on wrong making me miss the opening sequence and me expecting for the words in some songs to be the same as the play, I loved it. Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman blew me away with just how much I've come to love them more than I did. Alan added a level of adorable to Judge Turpin that the original actor lacked, that actor just made Judge Turpin seem creepy. My rate is 9/10.

I AM LEGEND ::
I'd like to start out that I absolutely adore Will Smith. His acting, his humor, his just plain relation and ability to relate to the audience gets me every time. I watched his movie for this man alone, and I wasn't put down by it. At all. I LOVED this movie. Two hours of jamed packed action that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Hole - leeee - crap. <3
Will Smith is perhaps the only person that can go through the first half of a movie interacting with nothing but some maniquens. Haha. <333
I wouldn't mind watching it again sometime soon, I'd give it a solid 1O/1O.

Beowulf:
Graphics were amazing, cast was amazing, story plot was an epic fail. Ugh. It was worst than the book. (I didn't enjoy the book much. I only watched the movie for the killer graphics like Three Hundred.) It was nothing like the book that I read and remembered. When I finished watching it, I went home and checked my sparknotes to see. It was still nothing alike. Angelina JoLie was supposed to be ugly, but obviously that did not happen. Mostly and entire epic failure. I can never see this movie again. I'm glad I din not pay for the tickets.

Alice
directed by Woody Allen
5 out of 5 duckies
This film was absolutely charming. It's about a bored housewife, who finds herself suffering from a back pain she can't pinpoint the reason for, and also finds herself crushing on a man she runs into when picking up her kids from school. She turns to an alternative source of care with a "doctor" who practices herbal remedy, hypnosis, and acupuncture. During her treatment with this man, she finds that her back pain is really a symptom of her own inner troubles, and once she begins exploring who she is and what she really wants out of life, that pain beings to go away...though is replaced by new troubles.
There's a lot of surreal adventure throughout the film, a wonderful score, and as always, that bittersweet humor this director uses so often.
I was very pleasantly surprised by it! One of my top films for sure. :]
