Raise Your Voice

4/5

I've seen the movie a few times. I like it. I like the music and the drama and all. It could have some more comedy, but overall, it's not bad. Plus, Jason Ritter and Oliver James are gorgeous. Kiwi's cute, too.

Candy Man II 6/10

Candy Man II

it was kinda like watching the Extended version of the first movie. Was a bit crazy and grim but entertaining.

I give it a 6/10

The last movie I saw was Penelope, it was a remake of Beauty and the Beast...I guess. The gender of the best was reversed, Penelope had a 'hideous' pig nose (it wasn't actually all that bad, it was 'kinda cute, in a twisted sort of way.

I didn't enjoy any of the acting, except for a drunken Reese Witherspoon...she should've had a bigger part.

5/10.

a little drawn out but the acting was amazing.

last movie i rented

Day of the Dawn : STUPID 0 thats what it gets. horrible.
and
Balls of Fury: 5 felt like it went to fast and wasnt that funny.

Bridget Jones' Diary
Well, I'm currently watching it, but I've seen it quite a few times.

4.75/5

I really love the movie. It's funny, but it has some drama. Not much drama, though. It's a very lighthearted movie, really fun. Plus, I love Hugh Grant. And Colin Firth isn't bad either. ;]

geishaberry 08-10-2008 06:27 AM

I saw Dark Knight in the theaters. Best super hero movie ever.

Last night I watched (a very edited) Lord of War with Nick Cage. It was alright. Kind of painful to watch in the same way that a lot of "THIS IS THE GRITTY, REAL WORLD" movies are difficult to watch. Nick Cage - I normally love him - was kind of unconvincing in the role.

Zombie Zombie 08-10-2008 08:24 AM

I just finished watching Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
I love that movie.
It is definitely a ten of ten. <3

I watched True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet on Lifetime earlier.

I'd give it about a 4.5/5.

It stars JoJo and Valerie Bertinelli. It's based on a novel by Lola Douglas, which I haven't read but maybe I should now. The synopsis says, "A troubled teenage actress must live with her aunt." That doesn't really do it justice. Morgan is a teenage actress, who has alcohol problems. So, her mom and manager send her to her mom's childhood best friend's house to stay. The mom's childhood best friend is referred to as her aunt. Anyway, she dyes her hair so she won't be recognized and everything and has to go to school like a normal teenager. It sounds kind of like a cliche movie, but it has some twists and turns that make it enjoyable. I liked it. I'll probably watch it again.

Last one I saw in theaters was Pineapple Express.

HILARIOUS. I definitely give it a 5/5 :D

umm last movie I watched at home:

Return of the King.

My favorite of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I give that one a 5/5 as well ^^

The Faculty

3/5?

I'm not sure. It was extremely weird and creepy. An alien had infected most of a school, and a small group of teenagers figured it out and were trying to stop it before it completely took over. They suspect that it's one of the teachers. All the students are being brainwashed, it appears. It had some good actors such as Josh Hartnett and Shawn Hatosy, who I've liked since seeing him in Anywhere but Here. Overall, it wasn't that bad. It did grab my attention. However, it just isn't the type of movie I really enjoy.

aww i <3 the Faculty. I'm a huge Josh Hartnett fan xD hehe so I can't turn that one down :3 It's definitely weird and sometimes kinda cheesy. xD

Saw III. Some parts were kinda boring but as a whole it was really good!

Hollywood! 08-16-2008 11:33 PM

The last movie I saw was Mirrors. It was veryyyy boring. I'd give it a 4.5/10.

One-eyed Jackal 08-17-2008 08:14 AM

I just saw Halloween Unrated (the remake by Rob Zombie). I'd give it a 7/10 for humor. Right now I'm watching the original version of The Omen which is ok so far.

Selmarixie 08-18-2008 08:38 AM

I just finished watching Hairspray, the 2007 version. It's about my 25th time watching the movie, so I'd give it a nice 5/5 rating.

aeriise 08-18-2008 06:34 PM

Dark Knight, A-.

But Heath Ledger gets an A+.

attackat 08-18-2008 06:35 PM

I saw the third mummy movie last last night! It was really awesome. I didn't really think the son looked like either of his parents, but other than that it was the best mummy movie so far...the end hinted there may be another, and I can't wait! I would definitely give it a...9.8/10!

lemonPencil 08-22-2008 06:33 PM

Hmm, I don't even remember the last movie I saw at the cinema... heh its been that long. I'm actually thinking it might have even been Sin City.. that was a while ago.

Last movie I watched at home was Taxi Driver followed by Deer Hunter, such great movies.

zodioniac 08-24-2008 07:28 PM

last movie i saw was big stan, was really funny and its one of the few comedys ive seen in recent times that i actually brought bme out in a fit of giggling :P

ill give it a 4/5

kyoshiana 08-25-2008 12:50 AM

the last mvoie I saw in theaters was mirrors and though the concept of the movie was interesting and I was a little apprehensive to watch it because it had to do with mirrors...

some 5th or 6th graders told me about bloody mary when I was 7 and I was scared of mirrors for the longest time... I'm not afraid anymore but still wary... I can be a scaredy cat though Xp ... I fear certain paranormal ... things... XD

anyway... I'd give it a 5/10 not because I liked it but because as far as scary movies goes... it wasn't the scariest but the special effects and such weren't so bad compared to other "scary" movies... :sarcasm:

sexyhobbit 08-25-2008 10:24 PM

hmm i work at a movie theater so i have to think about it i think it was the house bunny. its one of those movies that u really dont have to think about u could leave for 20 mins and still kno what is going on. its really just another stupid teen movie but it didnt suck.

GrimKusanagi 08-26-2008 02:46 AM

I watched xXx earlier. One of the better action movies out there. 8/10

Ling 08-26-2008 06:47 AM

The last movie I saw was The Bank Job. Having had no idea what it would be about (because I hadn't seen any ads or previews for it beforehand) I was pretty impressed. Its based on a true story which made the whole plot seem even more intriguing, though disturbing as well.

It was confusing at times, and there was a lot happening at once so minus some points for that, so overall rating would be 8/10 or 4 out of 5 stars.
