Snow and Snow 2: Brain Freeze

4/5

They were good. Cute Santa Claus movies with a new twist. I liked them. I love the little boy in the first one. He amuses me in everything I've seen him in.

Celeone 12-15-2008 11:10 AM

I saw Twilight this weekend. I would give it a 4.5/10.

Zyzyx Qyzyx 12-16-2008 01:12 AM

I saw Bolt.

The best part of the movie was the Hamster. The plot was weak and I found it to be extremely predictable. It did have a few gut wrenching moments but all in all a mediocre movie.

5 / 10 from me.

I just saw Cast Away. It was a really good movie. My rating is a... 7,5/10

keaton7 12-17-2008 10:17 PM

I don't know the name in English...
It's with Robbin Willians. He plays a commedy news host that decides to run for USA presidencial elections and ends up winning due to a glitch on the porgram used to cast the votes. A programmer comes to him to tell that and he decides to tell the truth in the end.

It's amazing! 9/10

I watched the classic (to me at least) 'Labyrinth'
10/10 no doubt in my mind
I'm a helpless Sarah/Jareth fangirl -giggles-
Labyrinth is so awesome -blushes-
Ok well don't take my word for it watch it for yourself!

Last movie that I watched was... Dr. Susse's How the Grinch Stole Christmas. And I rate that movie a 10/10. Jim Carey is AWESOME! xD

I just saw "Music from another room". I rented it from my library and its kinda oldish but I actually liked it. XDD
It has Jude Law in it and oh my word he is SO cute. I rate it really high just for that reason. :P Seriously my dream man would look/talk/be like him from that movie. *drools*
oook.. enough about that...
It is actually somewhat weird and makes no sense at some parts but it is quite cute in others.

I saw handcock last, it was a pretty good movie except for the ending... personally it reminds me of my roomy when he wakes up in the morning... or at least the first part of the movie seems like it

I've seen Twilight twice since Friday and I absolutely love it - seriously, no one could possibly make me change my mind about that. I like what I like and I don't listen to anyone else so yeah, 10/10 for me. ^^

But I'm probably biased because I knew I'd like it anyway, just because I love the books so much.

I just saw 007: Quantum of Solace, and it wasn't that enjoyable. But not for the reasons you might think.

The movie itself was fantastic; The plot was well thought, the characterization was pretty sweet, and it had a nice little bit of humor in it too. Not to mention the awesome action scenes - clearly, the fight in the beginning on the rooftops and subsequent rafters must have taken ages to plan out.
But... it wasn't a James Bond movie. It didn't feel like 'Bond' to me at all. To begin with, there were almost no gadgets whatsoever, a staple piece of James Bond. At least Casino Royale had the car, and though it was present in Quantum of Solace it didn't actually do any of it's gadgetry.
Another problem was the lack of a flamboyant 'landmark'. I don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but almost Bond movie has a very obvious 'landmark' to make it easy to pick out among the others. Casino Royale had the casino, Die Another Day had the Ice Palace, etc. While Quantum of Solace did have that solar energy plant, it just didn't seem unique enough, nor did it have enough screen time to really give it a good point as a 'landmark'.

While it was certainly a good movie, they didn't really need it to be James Bond.

Quantum of Solace felt a lot like the Bourne movies to me >>

I rented Tropic Thunder with a couple friends a few days ago, it had a couple funny moments but overall it was pretty unenjoyable to watch :/ The funniest parts were the fake trailers at the very beginning

babiicutie24 12-22-2008 07:00 PM

I watched Twilight.......it was very good...it missed some parts in the book but it was ok...lol
I give it a 9/10

:):):):):)

I was actually pleasantly surprised with Twilight. I thought it was going to be terrible but it was better than I thought. I'd give it an 8/10.

MasterChiefrei 12-22-2008 11:01 PM

*to keaton7* That was Man of the Year, loved it too. ^ ^

The last movie I saw was Mamma Mia *or however it's placed* and I give it 5/10. Which is odd because I love Musicals *Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Sweeney Todd, Singing in the Rain* but this one didn't hit it off with me. I was fairly bored through the whole thing, the lines were...*shiver*, and at the end I just rolled my eyes. There were only a few parts I found funny but other than that you can't pay me to watch it again.

Just watched I Am Legend last night. A little bit creepy but a great movie none the less. Will Smith did an amazing job.

I'd give it 4 stars!

FarieFaye 12-24-2008 03:23 AM

^ I Am Legend is great! but those creatures totally freak me out!

Last movie I saw was....well in the theaters was Madagascar 2 which was pretty cute 4/5 the last one I saw though was at my boyfriend's house, Pleasentville it was actually pretty cute! so I'd also say 4/5

I'm getting ready to watch Horton Hears A Who I do hope they do Dr. Suess justice

The Perfect Holiday

3.5/5

It stars Morris Chestnut and Gabrielle Union. It's a typical holiday movie. So, it was cute in its happiness. It has a slight twist to other Christmas movies I've seen, but it's really kind of average.

SesshysMiko 12-24-2008 04:37 AM

Last movie I saw was Ironman! Omg....omg. It was amazing. I wish it were real!
I give it a 5/5!!
