Forbidden Kingdom

4/5

It's not really something I'd pick out, not my kind of movie. It wasn't bad, though.

BLTeagus 12-26-2008 08:15 AM

I watched Bolt most recently.
Rhino the hamster gets a 10/10.

The Day the Earth Stood Still. Storyline = 3.7/5.
It's great, but the storyline is a bit.. general ;]. But I like it, science-fiction rules~

before that I watch Bolt. 3/5. :| I don`t really like it.

Dementes 12-26-2008 02:55 PM

last movie.. oh! i watched cry baby the other day. it makes me giggle and sing a bit every time i watch it. johnny depp and ricky lake? win win!

Ehnvy 12-26-2008 10:24 PM

Last movie I saw was the day the earth stood still. I'd give it an 8/10. The ending was...extremely anti-climatic and I wasn't the only one asking "That's it?!"

A i 12-27-2008 01:45 PM

im quite ashamed to admit it as the latest movie ive seen, since im force to watch it..
its Cicakman 2...

it sux...its bad, the quality and all..the first one is wayyyy better =)
i only give it a 3.8/10 ...doesn't even worth a 4 >.<

why sux?..because its computer effect is way too much, and way fake...
the storyline is bad and all..

`Trixxy 12-28-2008 08:08 AM

The last movie I saw was The Strangers. I give it a 3/5 because it was pretty scary, but I hated how they didn't give a complete ending, and left everyone confused.

unc0ntainable 12-28-2008 03:03 PM

THe last movie was Benjamin Button...
Even though it was 3 hours long...
I give it 4/5 plus Brad Pit was in it,
and there is nothing wrong with him.

Michy Lea 12-29-2008 08:59 PM

I really, really want to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I doubt I'll see it before it hits DVD, though.

Today, I've watched...

Death Race

2/5

It was just a lot of senseless killing. The usual evil warden making inmates kill each other in some way.

Jarhead

2.5/5

Way too much foul language for me. Otherwise, it was an OK movie.

Universal Soldier

2/5

Another movie that was just a lot of killing.

Frost/Nixon

I give it a 10/10. It was a little slow getting started, but the acting was phenomenal. Both Micheal Sheen and Frank Langella were wonderful as David Frost and Richard Nixon, respectively.

I just finished Raise Your Voice with Hillary Duff. Its a good movie (in my mind). I've seen it several times though.

Captain Howdy 12-29-2008 11:24 PM

The Darjeeling Limited

The story of three slightly dysfunctional and disconnected brothers who set out by train to cross India on a so-called spiritual journey. Comedy-drama. Well acted, and, I thought, a very good film. The three principle actors (Luke Wilson, Adrien Brody & Jason Schwartzman) played well off each other. Eight outta ten.

I like that movie. I try to take a long break between watching it. That way, I get the emotions. It makes me cry, mostly the car wreck and when Terri talks to Mr. Torvald about the DVD Paul made of her. I love Jason Ritter.

Kung Fu Panda

5/5

It was great for a kid's movie. I loved the moral. The coloring was really pretty. And, it was funny. It made me laugh out loud as opposed to chuckling on the inside.

I saw Valkyrie, and I give it 8/10. Some of the shots didn't make sense in relation to the plot, but overall Valkyrie is an excellent film. I read that critics didn't like Tom Cruise's performance, and that his recent actions (scientology...) made it hard for some critics to take him seriously, but I thought that Cruise performed pretty well. Not the best, but he was good. Also, the supporting cast was wonderful, both in casting and acting. And there was just enough drama and suspense to keep you guessing.

sukishine 12-30-2008 12:31 PM

Wall-E is a 10/10 for me. Very cute movie.

Koari 01-01-2009 12:33 AM

Ummm, I think it was....ummmm...I'm not suree!
But I'll just throw a move out there ! The Clique, 9.5/10!
There were little itty bitty stuff I didn't like at all.

Opera Phantomess 01-02-2009 06:58 PM

Repo! The Genetic Opera, with a rating of 10000/10. I knew about since it was being filmed in Toronto late August of 2007 and it surpassed the highest expectations I had for it. It is almost like Rock Horror Picture Show, but with a fresh storyline and it could very well hold a world record for most songs written for a movie.

I am too addicted.

The last movie I saw was Wanted. It was pretty depressing, but on the bright side there was a lot of action. It was weird though; it went so fast. It felt like it was only like ten minutes long because most of it was a fight scene.

salvete 01-03-2009 03:33 AM

The last movie I watched was "The Legend of the Shadowless Sword" on DVD. The entire film was in Korean, so I had to stick to subtitles, unfortunately. I loved it, though! The martial arts was amazing, and the story was sad but beautiful.

Queen Sized

3/5

It's kind of an overused story. Some of the acting wasn't too believable. Besides that, it was an all right movie.

konikiat 01-04-2009 12:47 PM

The last foreign movie I saw was The Day the Earth Stood Still.
I would rate it 8/10. The plot of the story was okay but the message of the story for me is great! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that the movie was trying to tell us all that we are destroying the earth and that we should change now if we want to save the earth.

Michy Lea 01-07-2009 03:33 AM

Alvin and the Chipmunks

4/5

It was a cute movie. A little better than I had expected. It was kind of funny. Some of the interacting between the real people and the chipmunks wasn't so great, but it was understandable.

Good Luck Chuck

2/5

I like Dane Cook and all, but it was a little more graphic and perverted than I had expected. Actually, a lot more. I thought it was just going to be a comedy. I didn't expect any nudity, and there was an abundance.

fairywaif 01-07-2009 07:50 PM

I just saw Little Miss Sunshine, and I thought it was amazing! They're so disfunctional, but they come together in the end. It seemed very real too. I could definitely see a family like that. 10/10

I also recently saw Donny Darko which was really awesome. A little creepy at parts, but it really sucks you in. It's one of the movies where you're trying to figure out what's going on the entire time, and when you do get things, you're not sure if you're right. Very intense. 10/10

10 promises to my dog

The last movie I saw was 10 promises to my dog, a really awesome movie!
I think it's a really sad movie, and I cried all through it, mostly because I knew how it would end :'( and I really started to hate Akari, the main character...

but I give it 5/5 Since it's a great movie^^

Celestrya 01-11-2009 01:51 AM

The last was Hell Boy 2. Finally got to see it! And I loved it! 10/10....I'm sure there will be another movie, I can't wait!
