I love doing these move reviews ^^"

Bride Wars
Never have I seen a side of Kate Hudson that you could hate and love so much. She outdid herself in this romantic comedy. Her performance was stellar and even though she was acting b*tchy a lot, you can't hep but admire her for being the way she is. She plays the front role more than Anne Hathaway which is a little surprising considering Anne would probably be the more famous of the two. Yet, I could never imagine if they were to switch characters. Anne's character is also pretty good being quite unpredictable but changing a lot and her personality in the movie is somewhat confusing to me because there were lots of parts where she acted like one person and sometimes, she acted totally different.

Apart from the two main actresses and the wedding planner. There aren't many popular Hollywood stars which meant that the acting was so-so on the part of the rest of the casts. I felt like they could have casted bigger names for the roles of the guys since they have two awesome leading females.

The pace of the story was really good definitely much better than the trailer and more than I expected. I was honestly not too excited about the movie but after yesterday, I feel like I should invest in getting the DVD. It wasn't only the over the top actions that made it unbelievably funny but also the witty lines that Kate Hudson would suddenly say. She had sarcasm, wit and total spontaneous humour. It cracked me up so much, even when she was being mean.

Being a romantic comedy, this movie actually emphasizes more on the friendship aspect of things which was unexpected to me because the romance wasn't as prominent as I thought it would be. Sure there were one or two sweet lines between the lovers but there was more backstabbing and making up between the girls than anything XD

I would definitely recommend this movie as one to watch with a bunch of girlfriends. Guys might get a kick out of the two hot babes but thats about it ^^

Movie reviews I have come back <3

Coraline 3-D:

This movie is a must see. If you want to be up to date and see a good 3D film I would suggest you go see this one. It has a subtle feel on the 3D and not really a jumping out sort of sense. Henry, the director, is definitely a genius. He stuck to the book pretty well and gave it a bit more pizaz. I could see he didn't water down too much of the dark nature. For those of you who read the book the rats don't play such a big role in the movie as they did in the book. But it really isn't that bad actually. And this time I say believe the critics, at least the ones that say it was good, it definitely is Oscar worthy both in plot, script, and animation. But of course since the Oscars are rigged they'll probably just give it animation. Which is what it has to categorize it under. So definitely a MUST SEE!

The curious Case Of Benjamin Button

Hmm. It was curious.
A good film to say in the least. How the hell did they get 40- something -year old Brad Pitt to look so good even as a 13yr old?

10/10, although it's a long film.

Last moive i sore was Green Mile

I love the filme its really good, its based in a prison place where everyone prisiner that has been senteched to death by the chair. Its really sad becasue this one is killed even though he didnt commit the murder. Its a really good film and seems normal intill you find out that one prisoner has this werid power to 'help'.
I would recommed this if you enjoy good prison moives as well as twisted werid power things.
It si very sad at the end so be warned and you will need to listen cafully because you might nt understand it.

Repo the genetic opera was the last movie I saw. I liked it enough to buy it, I know it wont be everyone's cup of tea though. It takes a little time to get into but once you're in you're in. I love Anthony Stewart Head and even Paris Hilton did an okay job as Amber Sweet, though I think Paul Sorvino was phoning it in a bit. 8/10 I'd say. Oh, and if you see it be prepared to have the zydrate anatomy song stuck in your head for a good week.
The next one on my list is Neil Gaiman's Coraline in 3-d, I can't wait!

Changling.
It broke my heart! Aw!
Angelina Jolie is so so beautiful, and an excellent actress. It's a really good film.
Although, a little bit dissapointing of an ending, and it seemed to all go so quickly :-S
9/10

I haven't really seen movies lately. I think the latest one was either Mama Mia or Death note 1.

My ratings: Mama Mia~ 4/5 Chocolate stars. Funny, but not really my kind of movie.
Death note~ 5/5 stars. At times it wasn't as good as the manga, but still pretty cool.

Just came back from watching the sequel to Red Cliff part 1.

Red Cliff Part 2

With all honesty, I preferred part 1 so much more. Part 2 was equally epic but did not feature the characters which I liked as much. The storyline was ingenious again depicting the war strategies really brilliantly, it makes you really go 'Wow!' at what they can think of. That they portray the art of war not just on the battlefield but how the elements of psychology and the weather and teamwork can come into good use. I absolutely loved how they could read each others mind and trick one another so easily and how not only the soldiers and generals were fighting but female character also came to play a major role.

I did not like that there seemed to be so much play on fire. It was almost as if everything was just fire on the battlefield instead of real martial arts. The animation for the fire at some parts did not even look real and looked like it was done in a rush so I was quite disappointed with that. The last 30 minutes of the film was exciting but I got sad because a lot of the major characters died! And they died horrible deaths. Honourable deaths but throughout the film, you just couldn't believe that they would die!

There was quite some humour to it and it was provided by the right people since they had the silly kind as well as the witty kind which I liked. It made you think a bit instead of just making you laugh with obvious jokes. The movie just made you think a lot since they spoke in a lot of hidden messages before the actual plan would be revealed which is what I loved most because a lot of unexpected things came out and before they turned out, it made you think of all the possibilities that could happen.

Again, the actors were top notch, same cast as the first movie and even if they didn't have martial arts training, I wouldn't know it. They pretended pretty well! Unfortunately, the general whom I admire did not get to fight more. they only appeared to fight in the closing moments of the movie :(

Aall in all, a great movie and a good end to the two parts. 8/10 for me! :)

I saw Push last weekend. It was pretty good but it is for sure one of those movies that most people are going to either love or hate. I also think they will make a sequel of it. Which will totally wreak it. Anyways I give it a 9 out of 10.

I've watched 2 films recently, Secretary and Burn After Reading.

Secretary has James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal in it, and it's interesting to find out that I like it. It's basically about a 'Dom' lawyer and his secretary who becomes his sub - though she already was a masochist. They start to develop feelings for each other but then Edward Grey (the laywer) cuts it off and gets a new secretary. Anywho, it's really kind of sweet yet romantic and I really enjoyed it. :)

Burn After Reading, well, I just thought it was pretty hysterical. I still keep laughing at Brad Pitt's dancing. xD

10/10 for both for me. :D

Just watched something again

Vicky Christina Barcelona

Its a chick flic with a lot of twists. So many relationships happening until I got really sad that there wasn't a gay male relationship since there was a mix or bisexual and lesbian love in the mix. The movie portrayed such relationships as being really open! As if they could share the same man and women with other people. I found that quite an eye opener being an Asian from a very conservative country. I'm open minded about GLBT but sharing my boyfriend with another guy would probably not fit well with me ^^" That is what made this movie so interesting. There was only one main man and all the female characters sort of revolved around him and each other. The movie was sexy and romantic with powerhouse names like Scarlet Johansen and Penelope Cruz which were excellent in their roles. Penelope blew me away with her acting there, especially when she was throwing her angry fits! I loved her character the best out of them all. The other two girls seemed weak in comparison. The guy was just too sleazy for my taste. Sure he had that sexy Spanish aura around him but ick, his confidence was almost too narcissistic at some points. The setting of the movie was beautiful. The countryside villas and the views of Spanish cathedrals was breathtaking allowing viewers to truly indulge in the architecture, which is quite a big part of the movie ^^" I was really surprised that this movie actually won a golden globe. I'm not sure for what category but I remember something like that mentioned. To me, it was interesting but I could have always put it off and continue another day.

I just saw The Secret Life of Bees and it was a very good movie. Dakota Fanning has really grown up to be a good actress and I fell in love with Jennifer Hudson's character all over again. Alicia Keys also did very well and made me want to see her in future movies like this one. Sophie Okonedo was fantastic and made me wish I knew her in my life or someone that represented her character. And of course the Queen was amazing.
I give this movie an 8/10 and highly suggest it to be seen. There's many morals and lessons in the story that would reach out to anyone.

Since the last time I've posted in here I've seen another movie over the weekend, I saw Coraline and saw it in 3D too. It was an awesome movie too, really good, and during the previews before it saw a trailer for a new Tim Burton movie which is also animated called 9, it looks like it'll be a good one too.

I watched another move that I downloaded.

Bedtime Stories

The movie was very original at first. I thought it would be different and more childish with leprechauns and stuff really appearing and not just in the stories themselves. The idea itself is unique because I haven't really thought it would be that way but the was it was portrayed wasn't exactly good since it was more in between to me than being a real family oriented movie. Adam Sandler to me got kind of annoying throughout the movie and he and his friend showed some inappropriate behaviours that could give children the wrong impression. The way he talked about women and was never really responsible. The plot was cute I'll give it that because it was really a fairy tale adventure and how they put those fairy tales coming together in real life made sense I guess. but the story became to repetitive with just story, real life, story then real life again. It became a bit too predictable and boring and I was not really interested anymore. The kids were really good actors though. I think they have talent for people so young since they were quite convincing in their roles. Overall, I didn't really know what the genre of this movie was. I'm kind of glad that i didn't head to the movies to watch this because I feel like I would be wasting money. Quite a disappointment for something I was expecting to be so much better.
