just watched avatar, again! ><
i love that movie, i tear up at least three times at certain points throughout the movie!
i would definitely give it a five out of five. it is simply amazing.
i watched it in theatre and i bought the dvd/blue ray combination yesterday. the day it came out! ^^

Draciolus 04-23-2010 05:39 PM

Last movies I watched were all 4 of the Lethal Weapon movies. I love them. I would give each of them a 5/5 easily.

Spasmodic 04-23-2010 05:51 PM

Yeah, I can't remeber what Seth Rogan's newer film was about but I remember that I need to see it *mental note*

Well, last night I was watching Paul Blart Mall Cop and I have to say that it was amazing. Kevin James does it again, wowing me the first time playing Doug Heffernan on TV's King Of Queens he has burst onto the big screens once more and made me laugh for the duration of the film. I love the ending, nothing made me happier than knowing things went well. Also, the girl that played his daughter played the part brilliantly. 8/10

Okay, I don't actually have a new movie to talk about here, I just want to comment on Avatar. There is so much wrong with Avatar. I won't list it because it would be brutal, but the huge hype of the movie is getting to the point of making me angry.

Spasmodic 04-25-2010 10:55 PM

The last film I saw was Shrek 2 when I was staying at my best friend's house earlier.

I love that film so much! Dream Works really triumphed then. I mean the comedy is kid friendly but there are more adult twists, and you have just got to love Mike Meyers voice, the best line is definately "Look at his wee little boots" the way he says 'boots' is just class. Antonio Banderas, John Cleese, Rupert Everette, Eddie Murphy and Jenifer Saunders are just brilliant, I love their voices. Though number one character is Gingey

10/10 for Shrek 2

Shrek 3 on the other hand: huge flop

Terribly Sorry 04-26-2010 09:51 AM

Watched Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian last night at my grandparents. I didn't think it was as funny as the first one, but there were alot more interesting characters and exhibits in this one. Especially the little Einsteins.

I'd give it, maybe, 7/10

Mariposa~rosa 04-27-2010 03:36 PM

I saw how to train your dragon last, I give it a 9/10, its really really cute, and there are very few things that are bad about it. Great movie

Draciolus 04-27-2010 03:47 PM

I started watching Resident Evil: Degeneration the other night, which was a bad idea since I knew I would fall asleep shortly after laying down. Sadly, I slept through the movie, but I did watch it before, and I would give it a 9/10. The animations could have been a bit smoother in my opinion.

Poppet 04-27-2010 04:46 PM

I just saw "The Carriers." In my opinion, the movie sucked. I love a good horror flick, one that will make me scream. This one was.. Eh... I give it a 4. It was a bit predictable.

Koopani 04-28-2010 06:08 AM

I saw "The Lovely Bones" yesterday. In my opinion I thought it was okay. I was not impressed with the ending. I would give it 3 stars at most.

Loveslust 04-28-2010 06:18 AM

Last movie I saw was, The Gamer: Dorkness Rising. It's an independent film, but for you nerds out there. You will love it!! Me and my girlfriend couldn't stop laughing the entire movie. It's amazing, and intelligently designed. 9000/9000!

Draciolus 04-29-2010 05:34 AM

How to Train Your Dragon.

Ok, ok. I admit, it was cute. And funny. And that I said it looked stupid before. But that was then, this is now. I give it a 10/10 for cuteness, and humor. Plus...I WANT THAT NIGHT FURY!

Ahem...sorry.

Karvo 04-29-2010 06:26 AM

@ Draciolus : I couldn't agree more! I saw the Night Fury and his big, adorable, cute eyes and all I could think was "OH MY GOD I WANT ONE I WANT ONE I WANT ONE" and from then on out it just got cuter and cuter and cuter!!!!!

The last movie I saw was "How to tame your dragon" also, and I gotta say 10/10, BEST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE! So adorable!! :)

Hermes 04-30-2010 01:42 AM

I personally don't really dig 'adorable' movies. =P I saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs a while ago, which people thought was cute and fun, and I just felt like adults think kids are getting dumber. What happened to the Lion King? xD

Sidhe 04-30-2010 01:57 AM

Weell, I recently watched 'Stand By Me' and I'd probably give it 5/5, It's one of my favorite movies. :gonk:

Another one I watched recently was 'BeetleJuice' the "DAY-OH" dinner party part cracks me up everytime.

The Real Nikki 04-30-2010 02:04 PM

Lord of the Rings movie party.. *drools*
I fell asleep AGAIN in the middle of the second movie. 4/5 for awesome.. but I'm going to change it to 2/5 if you have to watch them all together.

Draciolus 04-30-2010 06:56 PM

Last movie I watched was Serenity. I love that movie, and the series it is based off of. But what I hate, it that the series only lasted one season. It could have gone on. As for rating, I give it a 10/10.

jazzkitteh 04-30-2010 07:02 PM

Last movie I saw was How to Train Your Dragon and I have to say this was probably one of the best 3D movies I have ever seen. I loved that I could enjoy it as well as my 3 yr old cousin who I took to see it.

I saw The Crazies right before that as well. I thought it was a pretty decent movie. The subject was a bit overused but still held my attention. Great movie if you like those disease turns people into zombies type of movies.

Louis duLac 05-02-2010 05:09 AM

Saw Pretty in Pink for the first time this evening. It was really good, but I thought the ending was odd. I'd give it an 8/10

Hermes 05-03-2010 06:39 AM

I watched Saving Private Ryan a couple days ago. I actually liked it quite a bit. Generally I don't like movies that are really long and not plot driven (because I'm the MTV generation and I hate it), but the extremely long scenes didn't get to me this time. Maybe it's just the non-stop action of it that got me, but I like to think that action is cool when it's supported by something, and Saving Private Ryan had a really good human realism underneath all the effects.
I give it 9/10.

hiimbryan 05-03-2010 04:06 PM

I just went to see NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. It was probably the best movie that ive seen this year. =)

Draciolus 05-03-2010 09:23 PM

I watched Wall-E last night. It was cute, just like I remember it being. But then again, I watched the Presto short after. And that was amazingly funny. I give Wall-E a 4/5, and Presto a 5/5.

Cloudy Wolf 05-08-2010 08:28 PM

you've got mail 10/10.
When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story 5/5
Astro Boy 5/5
Doctor Strange 4/5
Resident Evil Degeneration 6/10
Rooster Cogburn (and the Lady) 10/10
Anastasia 10/10
Avatar 10/10
New Moon 8/10
alice in wonderland with johnny depp 10/10

Thalia_Winters 05-09-2010 09:53 PM

The last two movies I saw were Alice in Wonderland and How to Train Your Dragon.

I give Alice in Wonderland a 7/10. I really loved the Mad Hatter, but I prefer the book "Through the Looking Glass" over the movie.

I give How to Train Your Dragon a 10/10. It was an amazing movie and I agree with everyone else who said they want a Night Fury. Also I think the fact the David Tennant had a role in it made the movie all the more worth it!

DemonofWutai 05-10-2010 06:29 AM

Last movie I saw was the Remake of Clash Of The Titans....and from seeing the original when i was younger, i can only give it a 4.5/10
It just didn't you know feel right.
