Last movie I watched was Tron Legacy. I didn't pay much attention, because I'd seen it before, and my friends were mucking about around me, but the first time I saw it I went to the local theater. I had the row to myself and so I lifted the arm of the chair next to me and curled up like it was a couch. The bass from the soundtrack vibrated down my spine and I was sucked in by awesome 3D effects. That movie was so much more amazing in cinemas than at home *sigh*
8/10 for the film itself though. It's well done, even though I know nothing about the original xD |
The Adjustment Burea is the last movie I saw in theatre, and I can't recall if I've seen any movies after that...
The movie was really good, with a nice deep plot, though the ending seemed rushed. It was thoughtful, well thought out, and smart. 8/10 |
Death becomes her was the last movie I watched :)
I watched it way back but now that I can actually understand the jokes, the movie was great. It was really funny in some parts. Bruce Willis' character was the cherry on top of the "funny sundae". |
Saw SuckerPunch tonight.
It's incredible! So smart and keeps you guessing. The graphics were nice too. I'm surprised so many people seemed to hate it. It was amazing in my personal opinion. A story inside of a story inside of a story. It's awesome. 9/10 |
The last movie I watched was the Green Hornet. I didn't know anything about it going in, so I was surprised by how funny it was. I'd give it... hmm.. 8/10? For a slapstick I was amused more than usual, and it was good that for once nobody got the girl.

I just saw Step Up 2. 2.5/5
The thing about these movies is that dialogue and plot aren't particularly the point. In Step Up, though, I can't help but feel that they tried an eensy bit more. Much of the dialogue in Step Up 2was stilted and bad, but some of the performances were awesome. I love the initial "prank" that the 410 does on public transit, masked and all-- it was gorgeous. Largely, these movies are an excuse to showcase lots of pretty pretty street dancing. To that purpose, I enjoy them. Throughout this I couldn't help but think in my head, "Mike Chang! I love you Mike Chang!" The same actor who plays that character in Glee also plays Cable in this film. One of the reasons I enjoy these arbitrary dance movies is playing Where's Waldo with arbitrary faces I recognize from the dance world. Recognition of background dancers is an element of pride for me... Like those moments when you babysit and spot a So You Think You Can Dance dancer in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie... Yeah. I'm cool. One of these days, I'm going to have to watch a legitimate movie. Until then... Step Up 3, here I come! |
The last movie I saw was Tangled I thought it was cute and really well done. I wish there was more music, just because I loved musicals and everything. I almost felt bad for the old witch and everything. However, I overall enjoyed the movie, and it was suprisingly not 'too girly' so my little brothers also enjoyed it, which is a big plus in my books.

Please, no one ever watch To Die For with Nicole Kidman. I watched it due to the usual-- late night, nothing to watch, tried OnDemand free movies. I get why it was free to watch now. 0/5
A clever man once explained to me that there must be a sympathetic character in a movie, someone with whom he can empathize or relate, for a movie to be enjoyable
How does Nicole Kidman pick her scripts??? I want to love this woman, I really do, but she's so hit-and-miss. EDIT: SPOILER |
I just watched Shrek Forever After , umm...I really wish that I didn't pay for it. It was good and entertaining and all, I found it more enjoyable than Shrek the Third but I found it very predictable at times and I wasn't really entertained for the majority of it. 3/5

The last film I saw was Scream 4, and it was pretty awesome. I love Scream films, and this was no exception. (: Gale was as badass as ever, Dewey as adorable, and my favourite new character is definitely Kirby. She has an awesome name, for a start, and she's got awesome style and is REALLY pretty while still being witty and interesting. Much much love for her. I guess it was repetitive, but that's to be expected, and kind of the point isn't it? It's safe to say I was thoroughly entertained, anyway. I'd give it 8/10 =3 (although the first scream film gets a 10/10 from me, for sure) |
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
It was a really good book - and a really good movie. Funny, awkward, and best of all, I like the characters. The book is a lot better, but it was still a good movie nonetheless. 7/10 (minus 3 points for glossing over awesome scenes from the book.) |
I watched Indiana Jones: Last Crusade. I'd give it a 10/10 x'D It was my all time favorite Indiana Jones movie.

I recently saw Scream 2 with a group of friends. We all watched Scream 1 together as well, a few weeks last.
I'll give Scream 2 a 3.7/5 (yeah, arbitrary, right?), because I appreciate the elements of parody but am not a fan of "scary movies" in general. I would have given this one a 4 out of 5, except for they killed one of my favorite characters, Character's namewhich everyone seems to love doing for some reason. I almost feel like I should apologize to characters when I begin to like them, because it seems to guarantee them the axe at some distant future point. Anyway, I rather like the protagonist of these movies. Because at least she isn't fearful. Same goes for the reporter. I like when women don't run and shriek and generally act like lambs to the slaughter. Hence my general dislike of horror movies, and my fondness for this one. Also, the ending: why it was so nice |
I just watched Saw: The Final Chapter. I loved all the Saw series and even though they fell all over the place with plots sometimes, the gore kept me coming back. The plot from the final chapter was a good reach back to the first movie and kept me interested though the filming and set combined probably cost 10 dollars. It was filmed in that awful way soap operas are filmed which is the reason I can't watch them with sets so cheap it was as if they just spray painted styofoam.
5/10 Because the plot was boss even if it was pretty much the only thing that kept me going. |
I just watched The Usual Suspects.
I totally called the ending, but I really enjoyed it. (from my kinda, half watching, half browsing perspective.) For one of dad's movies, it was pretty good. Now to get him to watch a movie that I like.... 7/10 |
The last movie I watched was Tangled.
I've always enjoyed Disney's princess movies, and I enjoyed this one a lot. It was very funny and was a good take on the old Rapunzel story. As sad as some people may think it is, I didn't see what happened to Flynn coming. It shocked me when it first happened, but I did expect them to end up together. After all, the main guy always gets the main girl in Disney movies. That's no secret. Overall, I enjoyed this movie all of the times I've watched it... Which has been like three or four. It always entertains me and never gets boring. So I'd give it an 8/10 as a rating. It's a very entertaining movie, I'd reccommend any Disney fans to watch it. |
I watched Hobo With A Shotgun a night or two ago. It was pretty hilarious and bloody.
|
I watched the Hangover 2 last night and I'll admit that it wasn't as funny as the original but it definetely had its highlights and I still laughed through most of it. I'm a little upset that Doug wasn't as incorporated into the film but that's alright and I like the Bangkok setting which added alot more crazy oppurtunities to their adventures.
All in all I'd give it 4 marshmallows out of 5. |
Mhm, I'll have to see Hangover 2 at some point. I didn't think the first one was as funny as people made it out to be, but maybe I just have an odd sense of humor.
I recently saw 'No Strings Attached'. I was expecting it to be really good, so I was kind of disappointed. I thought it was interesting at first, but it dragged on and got boring pretty quickly. |
I recently watched Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/ The Gaia Memories of Fate, I give it a 8/10. I made the mistake of watching it after I watched episode 47 of the TV series, as the film takes place between episodes 44 and 45 and contains a few plot points for the final episodes.
I know its tradition for the next rider to cameo in the film of it's predicesor, but I still don't understand why Eiji Hino (Kamen Rider OOO, of the current series) was doing atop the Futo Tower when W was fighting the Luna Dopant, I think they should have explained it a bit better. Then again, I'm not really sure if the film is cannon for Kamen Rider OOO as it is for Kamen Rider W. Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard and should just turn off my brain for this kind of stuff. |
I watched Thor last weekend with a friend and his sister. I would give it an 8/10 mainly because the actor who played Loki was amazing. Also, I was surprised the plot was actually coherent!
|
The last movie I saw was the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and that was this afternoon because I was bored and hadn't watched it in months. 5/5 because I love TMNT <3
|
The last movie I watched all the way through was Interview with the Vampire. I loved it. I loved how it didn't lose anything important that I remembered from the book (admittedly I read the book a couple of years back... but still.) Their depiction of the character Claudia was exactly as I had pictured her, even if Armand was wrong. Anyway, I enjoyed it thoroughly, and for a movie that was made the same year as I was born, it was very good. 8/10 (The writer got less believable toward the end.)

Kung Fu Panda 2 10/10 (HILARIOUS!)
The Adjustment Bureau 10/10 (I love Emily Blunt!) |
The Day After Tomorrow. It was enjoyable, and gave me an interesting perspective on the consequences of our actions on the planet.
