The last movie I saw in Theaters that I remember was Kung Fu Panda 2... and I wished to die afterwards I would give it a 2/10 just because there were a couple funny parts. But my ex boyfriend dragged me to it. And needless to say it was something he wished to see not what I wanted to see. I think my rating is biased since I don't like most animated movies.

The last movie I saw at home was You Again... and I give that a 6/10 because it was funny, but very predictable. But a plus Betty White was in it. Which makes everything better!!

Frank and Ollie
5/5

This is really for animator nerds or people who are interested in learning about Disney and the 9 old men.
This is about Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, 2 of the 9 old men who were some of the greatest animators ever!
For example, Frank animated the dancing penguins in Mary Poppins, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and much more. Ollie animated Bambi in Bambi, The Three good Fairies in Sleeping Beauty, and much more!

Everything Is Illuminated starring Elijah Wood!

7/5 stars. If you haven't yet watched it, get moving!

The lines are hilarious, the setting is beautiful, the characters are well-rounded, the actors do a great job, the lighting is splendid, the costumes work perfectly, and the story in itself is unexpected and sad but also funny and entertaining. A movie at it's absolute best potential. It's also touching because many can relate to it, plus it's based off the book by Jonathan Safran Foer.

Perhaps reading the story first would be helpful, but a great find!

The Illusionist
4/5

Very good animation movie.....hardly any dialogue, but you can feel the emotions through the characters, so the animators did a GREAT job XDD
and don't even get Sora started on the backgrounds, SO BEAUTIFUL! and all hand drawn!

I just got finished watching Child's Play again. It's so corny but I still love it then again, I love most old horror films before everyone started using computers to make effects. 8/10

If you want to get all technical and compare it to modern movies however, there is so much wrong with the movie that makes it really a terrible movie. XD

Definitly great cinematography and the story is really different from how they did it in the early 1900's ^^
So great black and white movie!

Love Birds.

It's New Zealand made film about a guy who adopts a duck. For real. I loved it! 4/5. Some bits were really dorky, but it's a really cool fil, and it was nice to see Rhys Darby as someone other than "That guy from Yes Man" and "Murray" from Flight of the Conchords.

Killer Elite...I give it a 2/5

It had not bad action, but moved WAY too slow for an action movie. Even though it was based off true events, it wasn't the worst movie Ive seen, but not the best either.

I watched Real Steel yesterday. I give it a 8/10. On paper, the story is really cliché. However, the actors play their parts really well and make their struggles look real. Add awesome robots, and you've got a movie that's better than it looks. Dakota Goyo is an awesome actor; giving adult actors in the movie a run for their money.

The Cat in the Hat; but I've actually seen it so many times. But that was like the only movie that's on the list in living room these days. So my 11-year old brother's been watching it.

I'll probably give it a 5/5.

I just watched Unleashed with Jet Li (again... I own it but hadn't watched it for a few years). I absolutely love this movie! Jet Li plays a man who has been raised by a gangster in Ireland as a dog (essentially). When his "owner/uncle" removes his collar and says "get 'em", Jet Li turns into ferocious martial-arts killing machine and then turns all docile again when the collar goes back on. It's pretty neat :-) The interesting thing of this movie is that it forces Jet Li to really act rather than just do his awesome stunts! He ends up getting taken in by a piano tuner and his daughter and has to learn how to be human... Great movie. I give it 8/10 stars!!

Contagion, I would say it was 8 out of 10. It was kind of a throw back to Outbrak. A Little slow paced but it would definitely be a hypochondriach's worst nightmare

3.5/5
Sora's friend finally made Sora watch the movie and it wasn't as bad as Sora thought. It's just highly predictable.

Last movie I watched was Warner Premier's Wonder Woman.
I give it a 3/5.
Pretty good overall, but some details bugged me. For example, the fact that even though Diana was always going on about how men shouldn't sexualise women, she pretty much walks around in her underwear! Fail.

Real Steel

Kinda cheesy at some times, but fucking giant fighting robots. Loved it.
It was kind of a weird family movie, so that's why there were sappy moments. But I liked the idea and I love boxing... and robots. Those parts were perfect.
7/10

The Ward Directed by John Carpenter, it was a decent horror flick but it failed at the last minute trying to throw in an extra scare. That last little attempt kind of threw me off since it didn't really make any sense, a lot of horror movies do this and wind up ruining the moment. Regardless it wasn't a bad watch on a rainy day 2 3/4 out of 5

Beastly. I really don't know what to rate it... I guess I'll just give it my own personal rating. 2/5
I don't like teen movies. I expected it to be closer to the book, though I didn't like the book much either (read it yesterday). Annnnnd the only part I really liked was the last part with the witch. Then again, I think that type of thing is common. Yep.
A bit random: I liked him as a "beast" more, think he should keep his head shaved, and wish some of the markings would have stayed like memorabilia or something.

Just got home from seeing Immortals. Definitely a good movie, and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a movie dealing with Greek mythology, and has good amounts of gore. I give it a 5/5

Puss in Boots [in 2D]

4/5

So, I figured this movie would be kinda good, kinda not good because we have to admit, usually when minor characters get their own movies, it’s almost never good as the original. And although, it’s not as good as Shrek, boy! does it hold its own!

While watching the movie, I started to forget that Puss in Boots was from Shrek. I was concentrating more on his story and his character and the whole “he’s a cat, so we make cat jokes” thing (Tee Hee). Voice Acting wise, the actors/actresses did great. I felt they all had different personalities and they all went great with their characters. Made them come to life more.

For the film itself, it was beautiful to watch. The cinematography was great and made the scenes work with the story, jokes, and such. The dancing scenes were fun and really reminded me of Rio, which isn’t a bad thing.

Last thing, I really don’t think I missed anything seeing it in 2D. I think 3D would have maybe been a little nicer, but not much difference for me, so it wouldn’t have been worth the money.

Casablanca

3.5/5

So, finally saw it and Sora knows why it got awards and such....very original story which Sora loves, but it didn't really grab Sora's attention. Sora thinks thats just because it's old and with a new audience, it can be different and kinda boring for the new generation i.e. Sora XDD
Still love Humphrey Bogart though! 8DD such a great actor!

Do movies on TV count or is it just movies you saw last in theaters? o n o;

If it's movies you've seen in theaters, the last one I saw was Harry Potter 7, Part 2. I'm sad that it's over but it was all such a good ride with the series. ; u ; /sniffs
9 / 10.

Movies on TV. . . Shrek 3. > w <; It was on TBS the other night and I decided to watch it since there was nothing else on. e n e;;;
7 / 10.
