The Lorax 7/10
Most of the songs are forced, and most of the jokes are not funny. But there are some good and interesting moments in the movie and worth seeing. One thing that I loved, was how they decided to end the movie. |
Saturday evening I went and watched Journey 2 since The Hunger Games took up a 12 oclock spot of John Carter. I was quite disappointed until I heard this one guy told us the movie is mostly romance. I'm not into that so I like Journey 2. Not much romance and the cinematography are quite beautiful, vivid, and nice. 8.5/10!

The Hunger Games
9/10 I'd been told a lot about the books but I haven't read them yet. The biggest complaint is that at some points the visual is a little too fake, like they ran out of time and couldn't fix up those few smaller scenes. Other than that it was a great movie, it could have used a little more action and a little less "run away and hide"; but it's also one of the only movies that's managed to make me cry in the theater. There's not much more I could say without spoiling it for people who haven't read the books. |
I watched Inception on Foxtel the other day, and even though I watched it at the cinemas when it first came out, I enjoyed and understood it more!
This movie is inspiring, emotional and extremely visually fierce! I definitely give it a 9 out of 10. |
Se7en - 9.5/10
This movie had insane amounts of detail woven into it that, as a person who enjoys that kind of thing, was mesmerizing. This is probably one of the best movies about a serial killer ever made and will always have a spot on my favorites list. If you don't mind gore, I'd definitely suggest you watch it. |

Last movie I saw was Red Riding Hood. I'd give it a solid 7. Actors were pretty good in it, but the plot was a bit lacking in something.

@Ivvy: I've watched that in school who knows how many times and it never gets old! I just finished Footloose(2011) and I rate it a 3/5. It was alright, nothing special. Except for the main character played by Kenny Wormald. *0* Very attractive man he is. It's a fun little movie, but I probably wouldn't watch it again. |
Last movie I saw was the Secret Life of Ariety,
I would give the movie a 9, It was adorable/creative, however I thought they could have made a better ending and lengthen the movie a bit. |
Just watched The Hunger Games last night. It was almost exactly how I imagined the book to be. Of course, the books are still better, but they always are. The movie did a great job portraying the scenes in the book. Some scenes were a little shaky though, I noticed, and I kept thinking, "Stay still! I can't see a thing!" but other than that it was a brilliant movie. And I agree with lilaithia. I remember one scene having really awful editing; you could just tell that it wasn't real. But nonetheless. I enjoyed it and would definitely watch it again. ^ u ^ 9.5/10 |
Like Water for Chocolate
3.9/5 For my first Spanish speaking movie, I loved it. it's a very good drama, but sometimes it can be hard to see because most of the characters don't get what they want. If anybody has seen the Piano, then it's a movie like that. |

4/5 I loved it's cuteness, and the moral was out there! Sometimes they kind of gloss over that stuff when they change a book into a movie, but this one didn't lose it's awesome. Unfortunately, it did lose a lot of the awesome rhymes that Dr Seuss uses. |
I just watched the Adventures of Tintin and I rate it a 4.5/5. It was a cute and entertaining movie. It kept my attention so that's good! |
The last movie I watched was In Time. The concept was cool, but like Inception, it turned out be mostly an action movie. Plus, it had Justin Timberlake as the main character.
I give it six out of ten. |

tintoin was the last movie i saw and i give it a 10/10 cause ii think the movvie was very enjoyable and i liked the story alo my favorite wouldd be the captain and his rsndom stories and how thw poor guy would get hurt through out half the whole movie by accident or on purpose and the dog was also my favorite cause he was one determined and very loyal pooch

A bit too farfetched for my liking. If they're going to go all out with that kind of storyline, there's just no point in even trying to make sense of it in the end. Waste of time, IMHO. And that's why I don't do horrors. *shakes fist at insistent boyfriend* |
'The Inbetweeners Movie' - 10/10
I loved it! You didn't need to see the telly series to get the film, and it was a genuinely funny comedy. Unlike most comedy films that are released. I can see why it's the UK's top comedy and I regret waiting so long to see it! |
Went and saw The Avengers tonight. The rating scale can't handle the amount of awesomeness that is produced from this movie. Loved EVERYTHING about the movie, the quirky one-liners, the superb action scenes. EVERYTHING about the movie gets more than a 100/10. If anyone hasn't seen it....GO, watch it and enjoy.

The Raven with John Cusack
8/10 It was basically like a darker version of Sherlock Holmes. It gave you that kind of feel and it was cool. The story itself, aka the mystery, was pretty predictable, but other than that a good movie to watch, especially if your into old Victorian type of movies. And if you liked RDJ's Sherlock Holmes, then you'll like the Raven. Though watch out, for there is some gore, but not enough where you close your eyes through the whole movie. |
Tokyo Zombie
My most recent movie was Tokyo Zombie, and it was hillarious. A verry good comedy about these two guys who have to fight off zombies that are coming from Black Mt. Fuji-which is like regular Mt. Fuji excpet its a toxic waste dump XD I dont want to give too much away but its a good lighthearted movie to watch with friends :)

The Avengers. For reason most people will have noted already if they've seen it...9/10. Lacking the final point because of a certain persons death, which came as a total shock.
