Haha, I wanted to revive this thread but I don't want to double post.
I liked this weeks episode, just for the fact that we finally know what happened to Michael when he got off the island. Also about another mystery of the island. When Michael tried to shot himself and it didn't work. Other than that I could have guessed that some of the things. I kind of wished there was more though, it was mainly just a flashback episode.
About the previous episode, the Sun and Jin centric episode. I liked it, it really did make me think that Jin was alive and he was trying to get to Sun. It was cute and sad. The one thing that made me go OO was the date on Jin's gravestone.
I don't like Michael's character much either, though it's good to know what happened to him. Still want to know what happened to Walt and whatnot. :P
The last episode was okay. Not bad, just definately not the best episode this season, and nowhere near as good as Desmond's episode!
It was a little flashback-heavy for my liking, I prefer a more emphasis on present events, but it did explain a lot, and it did feel true to Michael's character, like how he couldn't live with the guilt of murdering two women and selling his friends out.
I'm really interested in how they're going to explain how much older Walt has grown, over just a few months.
Obviously, we all know it's due to the mount of time it takes to film an episode, but I don't think they'll just gloss over it.
Perhaps an explaination involving the time travel aspects surrounding the island?
Although it did make me laugh in the episode where Locke saw an apparition of Walt after Ben shot him.
"It was Walt... only... taller!"
I've never actually watched Lost. That show and Greys Anatomy are the two really big TV shows that I never got into. I missed them in the beginning and then never felt compelled to catch up with them. My parents used to watch Lost until as my father said "it got to weird".
@Cherish; I really liked Desmond's episode, what did you think about the Sun and Jin episode?
They did get his character right, I mean he doesn't seem to be the person who'd do that and have no remorse. At least he's feeling that guilt, sad that he wants to kill himself though... he has to think about Walt.
That's true. Maybe they'd say it's something about the island and it's weirdness. xD
I loved that too.
Quote:
Sawyer: What the hell do you mean you saw Walt? In a dream? Locke: No dream, it was Walt. Only, taller. Sawyer: Taller? What like a giant? OK, what exactly did Walt tell you?
@Smolder; Haha. I kind of understand what your dad means. A friend of mine online watches Lost as well and said that it's gotten weirder. So I asked "are you watching the new episodes?" She said "Yeah, just so the last three years of my life isn't a complete waste." xP I agree with her, I thought I'd gotten weirder, I didn't want to watch the new season, yet I'd keep thinking "what happened?"
Season 4 is almost over! I'm devastated, this season has been excellent! (with the exception of the Kate/Jack episodes YUCK!)
I really enjoyed the Locke flash back episode, it was really awesome and well, anything to do with Sawyer and Ben is always good :)
Ohh and Desmond... how could I forget Desmond, his episode was so confused but really great once I worked out what the hell was up :)
i am still ticked that Kate is going to survive the freaking series!
i cant stand her!!
I'm with you there!! And Jack lied to get her off a jail term! (booo!!) I'm so annoyed that Jack is there too, gah this really sucks. And why is Aaron part of the Oceanic Six? He didn't have a seat on the plane.
Grr... I want to know what happens with Sawyer, Locke and Jin.
The show has gotten so far fetched I just keep watching to see how this is all going to tie in.
I beginning to wonder if everyone is actually dead except the six and they are so crazy they believe the others are alive, but then I can't fathom Locke is dead. Anyway he is my favorite character.

wow Jin has been like...sight unseen for seasons! only time you see him, is if he is fighting with his wife. bleh
*cusses to herself* :sarcasm:
i just hate Kate so much!! no hate as in... i cant watch the show. its more like "Whhhy is she still there!?"
@Julia
i think that is why i tuned in with this season too.
i am waiting for the holes to be filled. some were...
the thing that really got my attention was the time traveling.
So... Child Ben got shoot (lol). It makes sense... it was quite predictable too.
I am all for letting him die though, mostly to see what happens and mostly to see that his reign never comes to fruitation(sp).
Of course I was quite shocked that Sayid would shoot a child.
I wish the show would hurry to the purpose of the Station Pods and the whole flashing and time traveling.
And surprise surprise... Kate still lives. :-x And is more useless and annoying than ever!
I don't care about her relationship with the two men! In fact I hope that both get over her, she is not that intoxicating.
Besides that. I think Hurley and Miles make a great team. I hope to see more of those two together.

I can't believe this topic is so inactive, LOST season 5 has really redeemed itself on the back of such unorganized story arcs! Absolutely loving it <3
I wasn't shocked at Sayid's behaviour really, he's a torturer after all! Or was.
In terms of Kate, I think it's really hilarious that Sawyer and Juliet have hooked up (who make an amazing pairing, much more inspired than Kate/Sawyer or Kate/Jack). And the previous episode of Hurley/Miles together in that DHARMA jeep made me chuckle.
The episode with Ben and the smoke monster redeeming him was just treading on the far-fetchedness again that made me want to stop watching it in the first place. So I hope all this philosophical magic island rubbish will dissipate ><
I'm a man of science, like Daniel!
SPOILERX
WHO GOT SHOT BY HIS MOTHER?!
Some explosive reveleations going on this season for sure, especially the whole
SPOILERX
Eloise/Charles relationship - makes you wonder if Daniel/Penny are brother and sister.
I am so-so with the whole "back in time" arc. It is balancing out alright.
I just hope this will give some more answers, as to what the time traveling is about. And I soo want more on Jacob.
I can see Sayid shooting an adult...but not a kid.
Totally agree about Sawyer and Juliet. Seriously...Kate is one of those people who doesn't deserve anyone lol She just causes too much trouble.
Oh yeah. Smokey has (thus far) had no explanation of it's existence and it's purpose.
@SPOILER
Oh yeah, that part was a total bummer... :(
BUT since this is the island, maybe it will be alright :XD

Well, he knows Ben as an adult. He knows what the child will become very well. I don't think he saw it as shooting a child so much as stopping a problem before it started.
The season finale of lost completely killed me. SUCH A CLIFF HANGER!
It was also the first season that I watched as it happened. I watched the whole thing in repeats last year and caught up just in time for this previous season to start.
I can't wait for it to start back up. I miss Lost! But watching more repeats helps. c:
I searched this forum looking for another "Lost" thread and couldn't find one. So I decided to make on.
I know that I can not be the only one on here who loves "Lost". It is such a great show, JJ Abrams has some talent with the suspense. I first started watching it back in '05 when they where showing season 1 episodes, right before they started the second season; and I haven't stopped watching it!
There are supposedly one more season starting early spring of next year. Not all the questions will be answered, but some of the most important ones.
To those, who like and watch the show, whom is your favorite character? Where there any disappointments in any of the episodes that you where upset about? What surprised you about the story line? Etc...
What questions would you like to be answered? If you haven't seen Lost yet..THEN WHY NOT!??!? lol j/k

So tell me now people, do you guys still like to get Lost with Lost, or is an endless drone of a show that should have been taken off a while ago. Personally I think they went a little overboard with all of the Alternate Reality Games Online (for those of you that dont know about those, check here for all the 411! The Lost Experience - Lostpedia - The Lost Encyclopedia). They went to into all of the questions, still leaving some unanswered. But I hope it all comes to a close peacefully and gently, not knocking us flat on our ass and leaving us with a cold dusty trail to ponder on. What do you think? DISCUSS!
LOVESS!
