Here's one lesson that, apparently, many Greco-Roman, Nordic, Germanic, and other mythologies didn't teach well enough: when in a strange, magical land never eat the food there! When I saw her pick up that peach and just bit into it I had a flashback of Persephone eating the pomegranate seeds and I seriously thought that she'd be trapped in the Labyrinth after that.

I remember watching it when I was younger (can't remember how young I was) and absolutely hated it. It got to the point where my entire family would chase me around the house singing songs from it becasue they knew it tortured me so much :/

Well, fast forward to last year (I'm now twenty-one): I got this amazing idea for a story, but I wanted to do some research (like what costumes my characters could wear, last names for them, just a bunch of stuff), and for some reason Labyrinth popped up in my mind...after about an hour or so arguing with myself I finally found the entire movie (in parts) on youtube and watched it all. Needless to say...I downloaded some songs and bout the DVD on Amazon.com a few days later :XD

Now that I'm older, I actually really enjoy this movie. I'm not sure exactly what it is about it that I love so much, but it makes me want to watch it over and over again. Part of me sometimes wishes that more movies nowadays could be like that. We need more simple movies without all the special effects that focuses more on storyline and character development in my opinion.

I like this movie. It's up there with my favorite fantasy movies. ~AmayaxKiyomori~ is right, they just don't make movies like they used to... I wasn't even alive when this came out, but most of the things I like I wasn't alive for them in there "hay day", but Labyrinth is still kinda popular. My friends haven't even heard of this movie, so apparently they "have no life". We went to the mall the other day, and in Hot Topic they had a Labyrinth shirt and I was like !
But, they also had a Def Leppard shirt, too. One of the hardest decisions to make in my position I have to tell you, but in the end I got both shirts. *wants to :tehe: really badly*

Caitlin: she is a-watching.
*holds back laughter*

I love that movie! I went to the Unclaimed Baggage Store and they have a meusium of things that they refuse to sell. They have a hoggle puppet! It is soo neat, but a bit scary. It's like the size of a 6 or 7 year old. I didn't expect it to be that big.

That was one of the most movie I wanted to watch because I saw someone on Gaia and their signature had it and I clicked on their profile and I was like "Hot damn! I want to watch this now." I showed it to my friend and she thought it was weird but we both love it. ^^ We both saw it too. >>; I should ask her if I could borrow it so I can watch it again. It is...amazing, breath taking! I absolutely love it. <3 I need to go find a DVD of my own to keep it. ;---; I need a copy! </3 Plus all the songs are amazing. x3

Amazing Film!!! I was born a few years after it was released, but I was told to watch it by some coworkers. I fell in love. It was definitely one of the best fantasy films ever. Jim Henson is a genious, he really gets fantasy and at the same time growing up. Beautiful sets and OMG Sarah's ball dress!!!! Although I could live without the puffy sleeves. David Bowie and the epic!bulge, you really can't beat that...

Omigosh, are you kidding? I would love to have a dress like that, poofy sleeves and all. XD It was GORGEOUS.

And may I just say how much fun it is to RP Jareth? I'm in an RP playing as him right now. He's such an awesome character. 8D

If the sleeves were a little less 80s then yes I would go for it. but it's so period, it's not even funny. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the dress, I'm just not keen on the sleeved. Personally my favourite dress would be Princess Lily's in Legend. You could totally go good/evil if two people wore those outfits.

I've ordered a clear contact juggling ball and a learn-how-to contact juggling DVD. I am happy, needless to say. I'LL BE LIKE JARETH. Except, you know, without the testosterone. And the hair. And the sexy voice. BUT I WILL HAVE MY MAD CONTACT JUGGLING SKILLS.

That movie owned my childhood! (Next to Nightmare before Christmas)

It is still one of my favourite movies to date. It is so awesome (:

May favourite song is still Within You. David Bowe's voice is perfect and him and that song with that scene, oh boy, it is hot.

I am blasphamous, I have never see it before <.<

I've heard of it and seen a few really quick snippets, but I have never actually watched the entire thing. Maybe one of these days I'll sit down and do so, I think the movie is lying somewhere around my house.

OMFG! That is like my favorite movie in the world. No joke, I absolutely love that movie to pieces.

:3 A little known fact: David Bowie has always been a very talented and good looking man

It'll be a sad day when he is around no more. Sadder than loosing Micheal Jackson at least >.<
