We finished the first series over here a little while ago.

UB is a selective show ^_^
i love it. me and my mom crack up. its very touching at times too.

i hope the American version does not go the original version way. and have her fall in love with her boss. bleh cliche and just doesnt work.

what i like about the show. is how wacky it can get

i've seen a bit of it and it was was really gd i think it gets a little too much credit but its still okay in my eyes

still a gd watch but ya know everyone has there own opinions
its more sort of the odd good episodes and the other not so good ones

But that is what is so great about Ugly Betty. It is like a Soap Opera with all the black outs and what not. Except it's not as cheesy as most Soap Opearas. It definitely deserved to win those Emmys. :3 And to think I would have never watched it if ABC Family hasn't ran that marathon of Ugly Betty. (Just like when I saw the marathon of Greek, now I can wait for it to come out next year) :3 Yay for marathons! :P

Ugly Betty? I love it! I have been watching it very long time on Iceland :D ! and Gene Simmons is Amanda's father :) ! I hope you're goin too have some fun while you're watching it!

I love Ugly Betty. I can't wait for this week's episode. Betty and Amanda living together... I know I'm gonna get a laugh out of it. Any time I need a good cry, I just watch the episode after Santos is shot, when Hilda's dreaming about him and then, Betty comes to the room... I love it. I miss Santos. I did like seeing Eddie Cibrian on there, though. I also like that Wilhelmina isn't as much of a villain in the past two episodes. It's a nice change.

I wonder if Ralph Maccio will be Hilda's love interest... not sure if I like him on the show.

It did seem like they would. Since Coach is out of the picture now, it's a definite possibility. I didn't even realize that was Ralph Macchio...

I loved tonight's episode. The ending Betty/Daniel and Betty/Amanda scenes were really nice. It made me love Daniel even more. And, I love when we get to see Amanda's truer side, not so self-centered as she so often appears. The scene between Betty and Wilhelmina was cute, too. I did feel bad for Betty, though. I was starting to really like Jesse. Daniel's sarcasm/jokes in the episode were really funny, too.

I agree. I was looking for this seriously girl in this show and what I found was "hollywood ugly" which can be read up about here: tv troupes. Betty herself is just a pretty face adorned in clothes and accessories that are simply unflattering.
