where he claimed to own the laws of time. He almost became like the Master.

Otherwise I'm excited about the Christmas special =3

yes i have seen the waters of mars, its a really creepy sad but good episode altogether i don't think we should colonize mars though because what if that does happen?

Sixkiller 04-08-2010 01:34 AM

Upon second viewing of WoM I noticed they mention the Ice Warriors A LOT which were a 2nd doctor villain.

Xai 04-08-2010 02:11 AM

Some of the Doctor Who episodes are a little strange, but I must admit that I really enjoy watching it. David Tennant is amazing. <3 The only reason I actually 'got into it' was because of my best friend. But unfortunately, I can only watch it when I go over to her house.

I'm not sure what I think about the new season. I don't like the new Doctor at all, but that may just be because I'm not used to him yet.

lonelyotaku 04-08-2010 02:36 AM

the ice warriors were another bad guy? thats interesting but it was smart that mars water was frozen.

Yay Dr. Who thread. And I was listening to chamelon circuit too! XD
I looove Doctor Who, to be honest tho before the new series started it was seen as really nerdy in the UK (where I'm from). But now we have these young hot thangs prancing about the telly screen its become really trendy lol :P
anyway, I love Matt Smith. I have a really good feeling about him, and Amy Pond!! So hot lol

lonelyotaku 04-12-2010 04:13 PM

lonelyotaku 04-13-2010 04:18 PM

it starts here in the us on saturday to i really hope the new episodes are ondemand

Draciolus 04-14-2010 05:59 AM

I just hope that I can warm to the "new" Doctor. Though, as my dad puts it, you always warm to the new Doctor eventually, and say something along the lines of "This is the best Doctor yet!". I doubt that though. The last Doctor rocked.

Parasite Steve 04-14-2010 05:50 PM

Last Doctor was awesome. Doctor ... Four I think had an awesome scarf though xD

I can't wait for Saturday (SPACE is the best channel ever) and one of my friends just got into the series too so it's great I'm not the only Doctor Who fan I know anymore XD

lonelyotaku 04-14-2010 07:44 PM

I just got my boyfriend into doctor and if anyone wants a toy sonic screwdriver, its only $12. I hopefully can get the new doctor who episodes ondemand.

Parasite Steve 04-14-2010 08:50 PM

$12?! Where!? Me and my friend both want one. But I'm broke... Curse my brokeness!

lonelyotaku 04-15-2010 02:25 AM

heres the site: Doctor Who America: Featuring Doctor Who Books, Magazines, Audios, Videos, DVDs and Other Fine Collectibles! and its under toys all together including shipping and handling it cost me around $14. also the screwdriver is under toys its a flashlight to.

Draciolus 04-18-2010 02:57 AM

Ok, so I just finished watching the new episode, and I must say, the new "companion" for the Doctor is absolutely HOT.

Now, onto the actual point of this post. I think this Doctor could be interesting, and quite possibly very intertaining. I do like the new Tardus. It looks more...Doctory than the previous one.

Has anyone else watched the new episode? If so, what did you think?

Parasite Steve 04-18-2010 03:37 AM

SPACE just showed the preview =3 Actually half an hour ago but still. I like the new companion (Though so far I think I still prefer Rose), and the new doctors pretty awesome too.
I can't wait til the Weeping Statue episode. I watched the Doctor Who Ultimate Guide that came on right before the episode and I'm really exciting for future episodes now.

lonelyotaku 04-18-2010 04:32 AM

I was excited to my neighbor was nice enough to let me watch it and i did prefer Rose to. The 11th hour was sooo interesting, and the giant eyebal caught me by surprises I was like whoa! and the eel in a human form was freaky to especially when it grew out its teeth.

Okay, I was never a proper follower of Doctor Who before because I started watching it a bit late and only very occasionally, but I watched the new one and have subsequently decided to keep up with it. :D Makes me feel more in the loop with the rest of the country, anyway!

I really like the new Doctor! :) I think he's doing a great job so far. And surprisingly I really like Amy Pond too! I'm one of those overly attatched to Rose types, so I wasn't sure if I'd care for her, but I think she's really cool. Especially in the second episode! Looking forward to watching the third today, I'm never home on Saturdays so I'm gonna have to get it on catch up.

lonelyotaku 04-18-2010 08:33 PM

I know i wonder when the second episode comes on here in the usa

Spasmodic 04-19-2010 04:11 PM

I love Dr.Who! I am yoru regular little nerd under all the hairdye and eyeliner

I have to say I am not so enthused over the new Doctor, David Tennant shall always be my favourite, he played the part so well, made it his own. The new Doctor really needs to step out of David's shoes and make the character his own a little more, right now he is trying to keep the role the same and in my mind it just isn't working for him.

Though I did have a very soft spot for Chistopher Eckleston as well.

I have watched it since it came back with Billie Piper and Chirstopher Eckleston, and probably will continue to watch it, just I have lost enthusiasium as I am not fond of the new Doctor, he is just not my version of eye-candy.

My favoruite episode was probably the one with the adepose people, I loved those little creatures made of fat, they were so cute. Though I loved the Space Pigs too, but of course, nothing compares to Daleks.

My favourite side-kick was Catherine Tate, she made the role rather amusing, but before that it would be Rose. I was never very fond of Martha.

Kole_Locke 04-19-2010 06:18 PM

I used to watch the original show that came out in the seventies with my father when I was a child. I liked that one a lot, but this one is pretty good as well.
