Sequals. Good or Bad?
 

Is it me or do Sequals usually...well...suck?
Pirates of the Carribean 2 was okay, but it dragged on a bit.
Shrek is just....awful @[email protected]
Bambi 2 was sooooo awesome XDDD

Spiderman..can't wait for the 3rd (venom rocks)

But I guess that doesn't really count because they were books first. o: <3

But.
Other sequels just ruin the reputation of the original.
I think Potc should have sticked with only one movie.
And Disney should nevereverever make sequels. xD
With some exceptions of their original stories.
But there should never be any Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, or Little Mermaid sequels. xD

Some sequels are awesome.. toy story blew me away!!
And LOTR is like.. what can I say? XD

Disney sequels.. omfg. I saw pocahontas 2 and never again..

bambi was soooo cute though. god i'm a nerd....

oh yeah, i guess lotr is actually just one movie, but each part followed the other one very well.
Pocahontas 2 was unleashed on me when I had nothing to watch one day XDD.. it was painful..

never... NEVER watch the second Dungeons and Dragons movie... it.. was so crappy >.<;

Disney shouldn't make sequels. Ever. I'll spend the rest of my life considering TLK2 to be a fanfic. Better, that it doesn't exist.

Sequels in general aren't that good.

I loved terminator II better than the one, though. Does that make me a bad person?

The Haryr Potter sequals are good...
But most sequels are pretty bad.

I think sequels can turn out good, i loved Pirates of the Caribbean 2 better than the 1st! Resident Evil Apocalypse was good, it wasnt as good as the first but i still thought it was amazing.
Matrix 2 was okay, Matrix 3 was poor in my opinion. Final Destination 1 was good, 2 was okay, but 3 was phenomenal i thought. Ring 2 was better than the first. Xmen 2 was good havent seen 3. Also both Tomb Raiders were good in my opinion and ive been a fan of TR since the very first game so know whats good or not on that. :P

So, it just depends what is made into a sequel and not trying to drag otu the story with a 3rd if the franchise has no life left in it. :P

i liked all the matrix's just because of the plot XDDD and the action. Xmen 2 was pretty decent. Xmen 3 the actors didn't have their hearts into the acting >.< they coulda done better

The first Saw was really good in my opinion, but the others... I mean, I liked them sort of, but they dragged down my opinion of it as a whole.

I also liked both PoTCs. o__o I didn't really find anything wrong with the second one.

i really didnt like the last xmen movie.. (or which ever it was where jean was the main char) it was just so.. dissapointing.

Well there are sequels which mean they are unplanned, but trilogies are planned. Like the Matrix is a trilogy... not sequels.

But I like them. Few of them. Sometimes if the first one is really great and the second doesn't live up to that expectation and more, we tend to think it's worse. I don't like Disney sequels. :o

I think it depends on the movie. :P I didn't really like the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 movie because I liked the open ending of the first movie. Disney did state that PotC was going to be a trilogy, though, so I'm hoping the third film closes all the open plots in the second film.

The sequels I hate are the ones that are just obvious attempts to milk a popular story for profit. (ie. Lion King 2, Lion King 1 1/2, Cinderella 2 & 3 etc...) It's called "Happily ever after" for a reason, and it's pretty ridiculous that they're trying to show what happens AFTER the happily ever after. :roll:

I liked Lion King 2 :P I thought it was very well done and loved the songs :D 3 (1 1/2) was ok but 2 was superb in my opinion.
