Guilty pleasures in television?
 

Recently I've been hooked on two soap operas that air on my local television channel.

It's not like I actually like it or try my best to tune in on it, I just watch it because it's so incredibly corny that it's funny.
I swear that's the reason why!

Both my mom and I watch it and we think it's hysterical. It's completely unrealistic, too, I mean these people go to drastic measures for simple day-to-day things.

It's called Wicked Wicked Games, that's the one we watch more, and the other one is called Watch Over Me. Wicked Wicked Games is really weird, there's this crazy old blonde chick who talks to herself when she's on the computer and she over-acts and stuff, and then these younger girls who can't act for their lives. It's pretty funny though. Even though it's not supposed to be. xD

I like watching Watch Over Me because my mom has the funniest reactions to it--she talks to the TV sometimes, and every time she does she leaves me laughing. There's this crazy evil guy on the show and every time he kills someone or something, she gasps loudly or says, "Ugh, he's such a jerk!" xD I dunno, it makes me laugh.

Are there any shows you secretly watch that you don't want anyone else to know about (even though you're going to release it to the public right now)?

Everything on Nickelodeon. xD Oh, and a few of those cartoons like Dora and Blues Clues. :oops:

Right now it would be "What Not to Wear"
I know just about everything I wear would be deemed wrong and that I am un stylish to them.

Some of the stuff they make you get rid of is just well, not right. But mostly i agree.

I love watching those silly makeover shows. The people there are so obnoxious. I also watch cartoons a lot. Fairly Oddparents and Billy & Mandy are probably my favorites. :]

I guess my guilty pleasure on T.V. would be Drawn Together. That show is so horrible. Like every time that nasty B&W chick takes a chunk out of her leg I'm like omg why am I watching this. But I love Capitan Hero and Ling Ling. :D

I've been known to watch them and I'm reallly not proud of myself for that.

I am all over that show. I am uber obsessed with it in fact. I'm even watching cycle four now :D

My absolute guilty pleasure? Pokemon. Wow, that sounds lamer still than it did in my head. :oops: But yeah, I love it. Mainly for Team Rocket though. Rocketshippy = <3

dora the explorer and blues clues and so cheesy and childish that they actually make me and my 21 year old sister laugh out loud

like when dora stops for a response for the kid to shout out something
me and my sister just look at eachother then burst out laughing
a kid wouldn't notice stuff like that

Seriously, can't stand her, and I should hate her show, but I can't not watch.

It's like a masochistic pleasure, more than it's a guilty pleasure.

I agree that it's crap. Now that I think of it,was I on an acid trip when I watched it? W.I.T.C.H. could own those anorexic fairies any day!
You know a show is bad when it makes you wish that its antagonists took care of the hero(ine) once and for all. The Trix witches even made it once, but it was only for a short time, when Bloom reawakened her powers in the cheesiest way possible.
