I agree!!!! I just finished watching through the entire orig series (husband and I own it on dvd) yesterday. I so love Futurama

I like it better then the Simpsons too. Has better ideas and more original.
I just got tired of watching re-runs so I tend to turn it off when it comes on now.
Too bad it doesn't seem nearly as popular so tey stopped making episodes.

I just hope that the fact they're off network doesn't cause the writers to take unnecessary steps in the direction of trashy. After all, Comedy Central isn't exactly high-brow programming.

I grew up watching the Simpsons a lot as a child, but I much prefer Futurama somehow. I'll still watch the Simpsons from time to time, but it doesn't seem as interesting to me.
During the first Futurama movie I saw, Bender's Big Score, I actually felt the warm sensation of romance I usually only feel while watching a chick-flick romance movie or TV series. Which was odd...

Futurama is one of my fav's. I've seen all of the original series and the movies. Now I've started on the comeback episodes and so far I like it. Never been a fan of The Simpsons but I do like Family Guy however in my opinion Futurama trumps them.

Futurama has to be one of my top ten shows! I was SO happy when they brought it back for a new season. Anyone else love Futurama?

It's not one of my favs but it is amusing late at night when I'm tired but still awake

Robot Devil is pretty awesome too. I love the episode where they have to get Bender out of robot hell.

Sora LOVES futurama! Sora wants to cosplay as Fry in the near future...........but not shaving eyebrows XDD

but sadly, Sora hasn't seen any of the new episodes cause he doesn't have TV in college T3T

I've seen every episode. It's an okay show. I'd much prefer that one than The Simpsons. Some of the episodes even made me happy and sad like a reality show almost. It's entertaining enough to watch anyway.

Yeah, there were some really sad moments in Futurama, a few of which even made me cry a little. It could really tug at your heartstrings.

The first movie was what really got me with the somewhat suspenseful possible romance. The second one... Maybe a bit... But with the first one I didn't want to turn it off. I even cried a bit...
Then there was the past to present episode regarding past unknown family. That one made me cry too at the end. Still does. There are probably others, but those ones really touched me.

The one about Fry's dog got me, and the one where you find out who Leela's parents are (is that the one you're talking about?). And definitely the one about Fry's brother!

The episode about the time skips and the Harlem Globe Trotters had a touching ending too (not giving any spoilers! ^^).

It was the Fry's brother and nephew one I was talking about. But yeah, the dog one was really sad and got me horribly. So sad it's hard to watch anymore without crying.
I remember that one, too. Another good one.

I knida felt like they lost the magic touch when they aired the newer episodes. Some of them were good but the creators could have done a lot better.

My favorite character is Bender Bending Rodriguez xD

I remember watching this late at night one day and it turned out to be a habit. It was really fun watching it before sleeping. I got addicted and started watching the other episodes. Futurama is awesome :3

I liked Futurama's first run, but the new season didn't really hit stride IMO. Granted, it had a pretty short production run.

Simpsons, Futurama are funny ^.^
