i just think that Family Guy is so funny with it's many allusions to other actors, and current events going on, and other shows. I think that The Simpsons is just stupid, the only think I like about that show is the different writings in chalk, saxophone music, barcode scanner, and how they rush to the televison.

The Simpsons is just plain stupid.

I find Family Guy to be more entertaining than the Simpsons. I get more of a laugh out of it.

They're both really great shows, but in my opinion Family Guy is funnier.

Family guy all the way. But the simpson is a classic. However i still prefer family guy

HANDS DOWN..Family Guy...I personally don't think the simpsons is that funny, plus I don't watch it too often...but like I said when I do, I don't find it that funny.

But with Family guy, every episode is funny, plus the music is all live. :3nod:

I'm a Simpsons fan more so than a Family Guy fan. I grew up on that show and spurt out quotes from the show like there is no tomorrow XD I like the way the show pokes fun at absolutely everyone and everything. I have to say the character I like the most of Sideshow Bob. I just can't explain it...

I'm not really much of a Family Guy fan... Kind of makes me think it is too much of the "new" generation humor that I don't care for... That and some of the running gags are kind of boring, like the one with Peter and the Giant Chicken. In fact, the only character I kind of like is Death... Maybe Brian on occasion.

Though I have to admit, I haven't really been watching much of either show as of late.

As for people saying one or the other show is stupid, that's a bit pathetic and doesn't really do anything to support your side... At least come up with a reasonable argument...

i enjoy both shows quite a bit. i grew up watching the simpsons and i am now more into family guy purely because of stewie and brian. the themes and everything else in these shows are pretty amazing. although the simpsons is kind of.. on the bad parenting side. family guy has alright parents and is a show i would let me own children watch.

I have quite a close association with the surname Griffin, so I'm inclined to go with Family Guy. Also, who can beat an alcoholic, smart-mouthed dog and a baby with a British accent aiming to kill his mother and rule the world? Sorry, Simpsons, but Maggie can't even talk, much less plot to assassinate Marge.

I’d have to say Family Guy. The Simpson’s is okay from what I’ve seen of it, but it’s not something which I’d watch over and over, like I do with Family Guy. Plus, Stewie is awesome. So is Brian. >3

My vote goes to family guy.
This is because they mainly have the two best episodes I can recall on watching.
The first is when Chris goes into the whitness protection program and they have to move south and become hillbillys.

Early on peter gets attacked multiple times by a racoon and then goes into an outhouse which falls over on him and shouts "its in my racoon wounds!"

The other episode would be the Star wars episode.
About the only part that I can quote upon without breaking a rule is when Chris is Luke skywalker and dresses up like a storm trooper to save princess leia (louis) and when he walks into her cell she says "arent you a little fat to be a storm trooper"
Chris blurts out "well fine just sit here and rot you stuck up capital B"
But before he leaves she asks who he is, he tells here hes here with Obi wan (herbert) and Han solo (peter) and she becomes shocked, finally chris says "suddenly Im not so fat huh."

I dont think the simpsons have beaten those.

I also forgot to mention that Chris is my Favorite character.

His blunt jokes and actions make peter seem nice. XD
That and most of them seem to come out and make fun of meg and Louis, but those always crack me up the most unless he makes fun of Brian, then I cant stop myself from chuckleing.

The simpsons because its an old classic way better than family guy.

whoah, family guy is winning by a landslide in that poll. either there aren't enough simpsons fans on menewsha, or not enough simpsons fans are voting.

either way it doesn't matter because i'm a family guy fan. i used to be a simpsons fan until family guy came around. sorry, but family guy is way too addicting. i'm so involved in that animated series, family guy sort of replaced the simpsons in terms of animated comedies i enjoy viewing. however, simpsons is still a good program. simpsons really is the definition classic comedy.

Family Guy is better, in my opinion. The Simpsons don't have Stewie or Brian, my favorite characters. I love how they're constantly picking on each other. The Simpsons isn't a bad series though, I like it too.

Family Guy

I know their jokes may not be relevant in anyway to the point of the episode but....i like that, its funny and no one can deny that. I mean how do they think of this stuff it is unbelieveable.

And for the Simpsons i still like them and all and they have a pretty good, structured story line. But in all honesty i am just getting plain sick of them seeing all their shows (which are all reruns by the way) on T.v. cause they are always on no matter what time it is you can look through your guide and you will find a simpsons show on no doubt. And i really can't stand it any more

So my conclusion is that family guy is definatly better then the simpsons but the simpsons is still good it was all i watched as a kid but yea family guy for sure.

Personally, I like Family Guy. The show is just amazing to me. xD I mean, how they bring back jokes again, but making it not repeat it the same way as it was before is pretty awesome. The Simpsons is a classic, no one can deny that.. However, after awhile it gets dry and it just isn't as funny anymore.

Growing up I used to watch the Simpsons I still hold a special place in my heart for bart but Stewie owns my heart now. I love Family Guy!

The Simpsons is the tv show of all tv shows Family Guy has no comparrison, even though I do like the show every now and then. I grew up watching the simpsons and nothing can replace them.
