"The Notebook"

"Marley and Me"

Those are the last two movies that made me cry. When we watched Marley and Me, my husband didn't want to watch it because we heard it was the new "Old Yeller". But we did, and of course at the end we cried...then we laughed because we were crying. lol.

lots of movies where a dog or some other animal dies makes me cry and it annoys me because i hate crying >_<

KerBlang 10-24-2009 04:41 AM

Titanic and Brokeback Mountain. Every single time. I've been watching Titanic for 12 years, and every single time I'm a sobbing mess. And Brokeback Mountain? I was blubbering like an idiot. I'm a sucker for the romantic tradgedies.

Mkat 10-25-2009 01:28 AM

the movies that i've cried over are The Notebook. A Walk to Remember. Marley and Me. Gran Torino and The Passion of The Christ...maybe others too,but i probably forgot them. *hehe

xoSarahBellaxo 10-25-2009 11:09 AM

@Mkat i know the passion of Christ was a really sad movie same with the Notebook and Titanic.

I never once cried about a movie until I saw Phantom of the Opera. For some reason, that film struck such a deep chord in me that tears were just streaming down my cheeks in the middle of musical theater class (which was where I first saw it).

You might find this hard to believe but the first time that I saw Finding Nemo, I cried... 3 times I think! It made me laugh then cry! They were happy in the begining and then his "wife" died and all the eggs, then they were happy again. Then Nemo was taken, then it got happy on his journey. Then he thought Nemo was dead when they got out of the net, then they were all together. Then I think there was a happy cry at the end, just cause. I dont think I have ever cried as much as I did watching that... Except for maybe watching The Notebook

I cried during "Where the Wild Things Are".
Just... so sad. I cried for the last 10 minutes.

G.Ober 10-25-2009 06:35 PM

Everything makes me cry, especially when someone looses their loved ones. The Land Before Time, An American Tale, The Lion King, Ghost to name a few. Geeze, I even balled when watching King Kong, twice. Once when they were capturing Kong, and the second time at the end when he was meeting his doom. He just wanted someone to love. TT

I don't cry at movies, but a lot of people in my class were crying after we watched this one movie called "Pay It Forward" in class.

Kohanaa 10-26-2009 07:05 AM

Zeigeist 10-26-2009 07:15 AM

Nanny McPhee makes me cry every time.

...Don't ask questions.

xoSarahBellaxo 10-26-2009 01:38 PM

@Pie i saw that movie i thought it was cute... =)

Marquisse 10-26-2009 01:41 PM

Ok so I think I can make everyone laugh at mine but the first movie I ever truely cried to was the Profesional. I was heart broken when Leon died.

xoSarahBellaxo 10-26-2009 01:49 PM

@Mar never saw that movie so i would not laugh.

Marquisse 10-26-2009 01:52 PM

Sarah= Its about a hitman who takes in a little girl and in the end he dies. Its not supposed to be a tear jerker.

xoSarahBellaxo 10-26-2009 01:54 PM

@Mar oh wow....

Aggy the Awesome 10-26-2009 04:20 PM

Armageddon is the only movie that has successfully made me cry when it's not "that time" of the month ;D

Sindima 10-26-2009 07:27 PM

Saving Private Ryan made me cry the first time i watched it...
War movies make me cry.. cause they happened..

california 10-26-2009 08:23 PM

Oh God...
My Dog Skip & Click always get me... ALWAYS.
I don't really know why though... just, Skip when he's lying on the bed all depressed is soooo sad... and Adam Sandler running through the rain to talk to his son is even more depressing, though I do always laugh when he flicks the guy off and then redeems himself.
D,:
No! Now I',m all depressed and I'm wondering if you guys even understood what I meant at all...

G.Ober 10-27-2009 07:44 AM

@ Marquisse
The end of the Professional is very sad indeed. Mathilda had lost everything, which was so little to begin with, and she wanted her revenge, ut in the ed she lost more. So sad. I must add that Natalie Portman is by far one of my favorite actresses, and this was the beginning of a wonderful career.

20FacesChizu 10-30-2009 07:02 PM

Facing the Giants. I absolutely cried through the WHOLE THING. And it was great, because it was all a happy cry, and the ending was wondermus, so I felt refreshed even though I looked like a total mess afterwards. XP

Escapist 10-30-2009 09:35 PM

Oh man. Chick flicks usually make me cry. Haha. The other day I watched the Titanic and I cried when Jack died. It was so sad! I also remember crying at the end of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, when Gandalf is leaving, then he turns to Frodo and they all realize Frodo is leaving too. TT.TT

There's plenty others, but those are the only two that I can remember for sure.
