In the end of The Kite Flyer, when Amir says "For you, a thousand times over!" to his son had me crying.
It was so sweet! ;;
And I almost bawled out my eyes in The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
The ending was just horribly depressing for me!

Both were excellent movies though.
I saw them at home so I didn't have to go through the embarrassment of leaving the movie theatre with my eyes teary.

The movie Joe Dirt *Spoiler* When Bandy says she loves him awe it was so sweet.

ichigo8504 10-31-2009 03:53 AM

I've cried to alot.
When I saw the Lion King in theaters--which was a long, long, long, LONG time ago, I cried when Mufasa died. I was alittle girl at the time.
I cried to Sailor Moon when the senshi die in the 5th season. I also cried at the end when she said she is "alone".
I had tears the whole time I was watching Narnia: the Lion, the witch, and the wordrobe.

I am pretty sure there are more.

Oh, I finally cried to Titanic. It took probably about 20 times to watch it. I laughed when I first watched it in theaters.

Samona 10-31-2009 03:59 AM

Bambi made me cry, actually it traumatized me and I havn't watched it since; oh plz click on my dragon eggs they are running out of time..

nutin 10-31-2009 05:29 PM

i dont usually cry when i watch movies but there is one movie called koizora (sky of love) that made me cry like a baby, it's a sad romantic movie based on a real life story

Cherish 11-01-2009 12:02 PM

I watched The Land Before Time the other day, for the first time in like 15 years.
It never made me cry when I was a kid, but this time I sobbed pretty much all the way through it!

FieryRoseofVesper 11-01-2009 10:56 PM

Marley and Me made me bawl. That movie even made my DAD cry and he NEVER cries at ANY movie! That ending made me want to die. T_T

The Bucket List also made me cry, so sad. *sniff sniff*

I think I remember one or two Pokemon movies making me cry...>_> The first one especially, when Pikachu was trying to call Ash back! I blame a cute, crying pikachu and the dramatically depressing music!!! And then the Entei one made me cry...How sad it would be to lose your father like that. :illgetu:

The Notebook's ending made me cry too.

OH! And Skip. The dog movie...Aaaagh. I will never forget it!

I think that's it though. I honestly hate sappy movies.

Luciana SinCross 11-02-2009 12:56 AM

The movie that made me bawl like a blubbering baby was a Korean made movie from the anime: Daddy Long Legs.

OH MY GODS that movie was so freaking sad! Especially at the ending! For hours afterwards I cried and cried and watched it again and cried at the ending. I have it converted on to a video on my iPod.

And then I cried when I watched: Absolute Boyfriend. That originally was a manga. And oh boy did I sob when I watched the last episode. I cried so loudly and horribly that my friend, who was coming over, heard it from the other side of my front door.

I sob more easily at Asian dramas/films then American ones. They know how to bring on the waterworks.

The only one I can think of is Homeward Bound the movie with the two dogs and the cat. But I'm sure their's been other since tend to cry easily.

Kamikaze Kendra 11-02-2009 03:42 AM

I'm not really a crying kind of girl... but all four times I've seen the new Star Trek movie I tear up a little in the beginning.
That and I can't help crying when I watch Milk. It's too damn sad.
But those are about it.

Porkbackfat 11-02-2009 03:47 AM

I don't typically admit this to people...but I cried a bit watching The Notebook. The final scene tugged on the heart strings a bit...

Emy-Sky 11-04-2009 05:18 AM

I try to avoid romance movies for a few reasons. One, they're often disturbing in some wierd way. Two, I don't like when people have their hearts broken, for crying out loud there's enough of that in real life already. And three, I get very emotional over very small things, so I tend to stay away from those movieecause they make me cry and I do that enough thank you very much.
:)

It takes A LOT to make me cry when watching a movie or a tv show. I have to become emotionally invested in a character in order to become upset enough to cry though it has happened a few times. To be specific: A Walk to Remember, P.S. I Love You, Rover Dangerfield (dunno why, but I balled watching this), and I am sure there are more.

Lizebeth_Night 11-05-2009 01:01 AM

Seven Pounds with Will Smith made me cry so much in the end.
And I never ever cry...

i read the 'koizora' manga and that's what made me want to see the movie... i cried the whole last quarter of the movie and seriously wept, WEPT, for like 2 hours after... i've never cried that much over a movie, ever... i really liked it too, but i don't think i could handle watching it again...

another movie that always makes me cry (although not as much as the one listed above) is 'life as a house' ... seriously. sad. movie.

xoSarahBellaxo 11-07-2009 12:57 PM

The Notebook was one of the movies that made me cry same with Titanic and a few others.

Movies That Make Yo Eyes watah~! [[LOOK]]

.:: Pan's Labyrinth ::. [El Laberinto del Fauno]
This is beyond, my favorite movie, and I wanted to have a discussion about it.
I've argued with my neighbor about it because her thoughts about it being the
life after death, and how God challanges Ofelia in three tasks. So she's saying, the faun, is God. Not to be rude, but honestly, this is just a movie. I understand where she's coming from, but, its a fairy tale.. Anywho, Im not going to vent on that. Actually, I want to ask, has anyone else ever cried, during the end? > > I did. And I admit it.

psst if you've never seen pan's labyrinth =] then just tell me whuts a movie you like, that made yew cry~!

I've merged your thread, Biohazard Dollii, with out preexisting 'Movie That Made You Cry' thread. :)

Also, please keep in mind the rule about languages other than English.
Quote:

English is the default language on this site, so we ask that you post in English wherever possible. The main reason for this is for prevention of spam. The majority of the staff are English speaking and cannot translate text posted in a wide variety of languages accurately, so for this reason we ask that you stick to English wherever possible, particularly in the Literature subforum.

Posting the odd word, such as proper names, or the occasional phrase or sentence is fine though. Just not entire paragraphs and so on.

If you wish to engage in discussion using any other language, please do so in The Menewsha Nation subforum. This is the only forum on the site where posting large amounts of text in any language other than English is currently permitted. The only exception is during site events. On these occasions, foreign language hang-out threads may be created within the event forum itself.

If a new user makes a Fresh Meat thread in a language other than English you can greet them and explain about the language rule in their own language, but please post it within the quote tabs, these--> and write it in English underneath.
In this case though, I don't think there was any need to mirror your same text in Spanish, so i've removed it. No worries though. ;)
