Normaly I never cry over a movie but for some reason Bridge to teribithia made me cry. I never read the book so I did'nt know the ending. When the girl died I guess it was so sudden I lost it. I can't believe I cried over such a lame movie.:P

Rotality 11-27-2009 07:37 AM

The end of Gladiator when Maximus dies. No idea why

ajhartsfield 11-28-2009 04:43 AM

When I watch a movie I feel like I am a part of it. I get so empathic for the characters and feel what they feel. I cry all the time when I watch movies when it's happy or sad, it doesn't matter. I cry like a baby every time I watch the Notebook it is so romantic how can you not cry? I also cry when I see the Family Stone and Across the Universe every time they just get me. I love that about movies how they can suck you in and change your emotions like that.

ainebella 11-28-2009 04:58 PM

I have been told I'm emotionaly bankrupt (my mom calls me that) so it came a shocker to her when I cried in I Am Sam and that the only movie I have cried in. So fair I think

Facade 11-29-2009 04:30 PM

I cried while watching Titanic and Selena... Last night when I saw Precious, I was on the verge of tears, but they never actually came. :S

There were one or two other movies I've cried during, but I don't remember the titles/etc.

There a few movies I've cried in...

-Edward Scissorhands
-Bambi
-The Tigger Family Movie (I don't know, I think that's what it's called)
-Pan's Labyrinth
-The Illusionist

There are probably more but I can't think of them all right at the moment.

The Whitewolf Shaman 12-16-2009 04:02 AM

Wolfie is a softie. I have cried on each of the following movies:

The Fox and the Hound.
The Lion King
Pay it Forward

I have cried to so many movies in Lord of the rings i cried when Frodo left in that elf boat and Sam tried to go after him. then in the last lord of the rings movie i spent the last 30 minutes of it crying. I've cried when Aries died in final fantasy 7. I cried for the last bit of of Battle star Galactica. Man am I glad i didn't watch that with my friends around. I've cried to books to....while i was in class. there's a memory I've blocked out of my mind for a long time. Truth is that i like crying to story's it's nice to feel emotional about your favorite characters or feel sad that the movie ends. It's just embarrassing around other people.

Linnea 12-17-2009 04:29 PM

@nester01: i also cry at books sometimes too... i feel kind of silly in retrospect but i guess i just get so into the story and i grow attached to the characters and i can't help it hehe

does anyone remember the first movie that made them cry?

i'm not ashamed to say that my first one was the very first 'land before time'... it was kind of funny because i made it though the whole movie without crying a bit... then when the credits started to roll i remembered that little foot's mama died and cried for an hour... *sigh*

Karvo 12-27-2009 08:54 AM

A few have, but the one that gets me EVERY time is the movie, "Beaches" with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey. ^_^ Amazing movie; just horribly sad at the end. D:

htownwera14 12-27-2009 11:24 PM

White Orgundy 01-09-2010 12:22 AM

I never cry during movies... Only once that I know of... I was bawling, and I mean bawling; the whole time during Koizora the movie. Its a japanese movie, but man, it is the sweetest, saddest, and absolutely the most amazing movie about love I've ever seen!!!! Its the epiphany of human sorrow, and struggle... And its selling points are its got Muira Haruma as the lead (with a hot peircing and AWESOME white hair!!!) ...

Oh, I love it.

Twisted Insanity 01-09-2010 06:01 AM

Marley and Me. What can I say? I'm a dog lover. Usually movies never make me cry.

Harmonius 01-09-2010 10:37 AM

The Funeral always makes me cry because it's so...honest I guess.
It's not sad particularly, but it's very lovely. :')

sailor star rainbow 01-09-2010 08:53 PM

Not many movies make me cry that often but one day. I saw the end of Marley and Me I started to tear up like baby. I am huge dog lover heck I still cry some times if I think about my oldest dog that we had to put down last summer poor old Belle.

Seer of the Past 01-09-2010 11:39 PM

The movie that almost made me cry was Pirates of the Caribbean 3 at World's End. Yeah I know why would I cry from that but at the time I saw it I was completely in love with Orlando Bloom so I almost cried at the end.

sailor star rainbow 01-10-2010 02:17 AM

Oh wait minute I forgot one other movie that made me cry this past summer. Transformer's 2 when optimums prim dies I did tear up. if you are true fan of Transformer's since the anime and have seen the first movie form the 80's you would cry to.

Darkness Within 01-11-2010 01:57 AM

Plenty of movies and Tv shows have made me cry, I am a sucker for that.
Click, Marley and Me, Because of Winn Dixie, Tale of Desperoux(although I did not care for that movie), Piglet's Big Movie, are all movies that have made me cry. And among TV shows Touched by an Angel has the most episodes that have struck me.

Demon_of_the_Sand 01-12-2010 10:05 PM

I have a new movie I cried in Trainspotting when Renton od's at Mother Superiors. I sat there in tears thinking what about Diane? You can't die :( I also tarted to cry when Renton left the hotel with the money and left Spud behind...poor Spud :(
