The Pursuit of Happiness

I've only cried at two movies: Schindler's List and this Chinese movie called To Live, which is about the Cultural Revolution.

Huffie 01-17-2010 02:54 PM

The only movies I've properly cried at I think were Donnie Darko and the Pianist, the Pianist especially; the first time I watched it I properly cried four seperate times. Gosh, it makes me sad just to think about that movie! :(

Draciolus 01-18-2010 05:28 AM

The ending of Deep Impact. When the families of the astronauts are saying their goodbyes.

Catface 01-18-2010 09:09 AM

Some scenes from Avatar made me shed a few (I hid it well lol) I'm very emotional over movies and anime stuff, but not irl things :/ Lion King always made me cry too lol

AkihitoKage 01-18-2010 07:57 PM

Brokeback Mountain makes me cry every time XP Why can't the gay guys get a happy ending!?

Wonderlands 01-20-2010 02:51 AM

Grave of Fireflies made me hysterically cry. It is such a sad sad movie. I want to explain it but i dont want to give it away for everyone so i suggest you to see it. Another movie is Babe Pig in the City for all different reasons.

I cry at just about any really sad movie. ESPECIALLY Disney films since I'm a sap... Like Up, Beauty and the Beast, The Fox and the Hound, and even HERCULES! I cried in the end when they said "Hey that's Phils boy!" Yeah... -__- and I cried A LOT at the end of Pan's Labyrinth... @[email protected]

AI always seems to make me cry. It's just so sad! My wife doesn't get it, she thinks I'm crazy.

Bridget Nickels 01-30-2010 10:45 PM

I watched "Ray" last night and came pretty darn close. Saw "Into the Wild" not too long ago, and that nearly did it. "Moulin Rouge" also makes me weepy, as does "Little Women". And there's lots more than that...

XxXshizuki-chanXxX 02-01-2010 12:19 AM

I never cry in movies.

I only started hysterically sobbing in a lifetime tv movie. Chasing secrets.

aserene 02-02-2010 01:26 AM

Schindler's List. Hands down. I couldn't even move after I saw it.

And The Cove, more because I was disturbed more than anything else.

It depends on the mood i'm in. If I'm emotional I will cry at a lot of things. Most recently I cryed when I caught the tail end of Homeward Bound. The movie where the animals get lost and then find their way home. Yeah I cried at the run into the sunset moment.

Kaychan 02-05-2010 04:37 AM

Only movie I think I cry to ever time I see it as to be Grave of Fireflies. Even through the oping credits I start balling for I just start thinking about what happens at the end.

strawberry witch 02-05-2010 12:32 PM

I still cry watching Pokemon: The First Movie.
I'm always like, "No! Ash, don't turn to stone!"
And then Pikachu starts crying and its so cute I then start crying myself.
It's amazing and a little pathetic.

zovilove 02-08-2010 03:45 AM

I cried so hard in the movie UP. I know its a kids movie... but it is soo sad. I also cried in a lot of other movies. But I forgot all of the names of them.

`Fallen 02-08-2010 05:06 AM

TheNewCSLewis 02-13-2010 01:53 AM

I cry in a lot of movies because I am a wimp but the movies I cry the most in are Two Brothers, The Lion King, Titanic, and the third lord of the rings at the end (it is really sad if you are attached to the story).

I am Okay 02-13-2010 02:36 AM

To me, almost all movies have a scene that makes you just want to cry, at least that's what I think. Even comedies. I watch a lot of dramas, and all of them have made me cry because of sad scenes, so I can't remember any I haven't cried to. If I list them, it would be too much XD.

@Lewis: You're not a wimp at all for crying !! I cry at almost every movie even if it's a comedy, so you're not alone! And for those who haven't cried that's probably impossible for me cause I'm heartful xD.

folkjanborii 02-13-2010 02:45 PM

grave of the fireflies :<
and i never cry during movies, that one just got to me.

LenGe 02-13-2010 03:43 PM

Titanic made me cry when I was a kid. Grave of the Fireflies made me pity the victims but Japan still attacked and slaughtered a ton more people than what the US did with their bombs >.>

danielley990 02-14-2010 10:42 PM

I tend to not watch movies that I know wil make me cry. I do ALWAYS cry at Disney movies though. I just start thinking that they are so happy and everything works out...I cried at Kung Fu Panda..yeah and I'm 22.
