The Crow

How many the crow are there?

I know about these;

The crow (brandon lee)
The crow - never say die
The crow - salvation

Can anyone tell me if there is any more films than this?
Oh.. and here you can chat about the crow and everything about the movie!

Cyzzane 05-04-2007 07:43 PM

I believe those are the only three films that were made.

I'm still a fan of the concept and I adore the comics and short stories that have been made following the 'The Crow' theme. I think that as a concept it works since everyone would like to think that there would be an avenging spirit of some sort that would take action should we be harmed before our time is up.

I enjoy the first movie the most out of the three, though all three are pretty well made and have good stand alone stories so you wouldn't have to see them all at once or even in order.

i never heard of the crow:never say die ,ive seen the other two.....i didn't like them,my favorite is "The Crow: City of Angels "that was the best crow movie,Vincent Perez was so hot in that movie.................. :D

Ancasta 05-05-2007 12:21 AM

There's four movies, actually. The three listed here, and the fourth is called The Crow: Wicked Prayer.

There was a TV show as well if I remember correctly. White dove or something like that. It was really bad lol!

To me the only one that matters is the first film. It's okay but in comparison to all of the others it's really good. The soundtrack however is absolutely -amazing-.

Hoshi 09-02-2007 01:42 AM

I think theres 5 Crows.
The First The Crow
City of Angels.
Salvations
Stairway to Heaven [TV]
Wicked Prayer is the Last one.

I Love the First one.
Brandon Lee was/is Amazing in it.
It's So Close to the Book by James O'Barr Thats why i LOVE it that much more.
I Didn't like Salvations or Stairway to heaven.
Stairway to Heaven was just a remake for TV and a Bad one.
I didn't care for it.
and Salvations I didn't care for.

I love the first movie, the one with Brandon Lee. It's actually one of my favorite movies. <3 Just recently I've seen Salvation. It wasn't bad. Not as good as the first one, but definitely not a total disaster, either.
I've also seen Stairway to Heaven the movie. I think it's the first episode of the TV show, but over an hour long. Not so bad, either, but it doesn't have that awesome atmosphere.

I really liked the first Crow movie. The others I wasn't too crazy about though. I remember watching the 2nd and 3rd ones, but honestly can't rememeber too much about either of them. I think I saw bits and pieces of Wicked Prayer though.

The Dark Ringmaster 09-08-2007 07:06 AM

The movie The Crow isn't the same without Brandon Lee. He played the character better than any other and I hope that you all will agree with me. I liked the first one but the third movie of The Crow blew me away.

I was introduced to the comic books through the film The Crow, starring Brandon Lee. I really enjoyed the film, and it was so beautiful and romantic. I really enjoyed the soundtrack too, especially that song Burn by The Cure.

I have yet to really see any of the other ones, but I heard Tara Banks and Edward were in another one. I'm still iffy on if I really want to go out of my way to find them all and watch, because I'm so content with what I've seen.

Even the quotes were marvelous, and comical at times. But it was all just done so well..

Runihura 09-10-2007 04:07 PM

The first one was the good one. The others were...ok. But the first one is a cult classic!

fairywoman823 09-13-2007 10:44 PM

Here are all the titles for you all

The Crow (1994)
The Crow: City of Angels (1996)
The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998) TV
The Crow: Salvation (2000)
The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005)

And their are only two worth watching which are the first two. The crow movies started out fantastic with the first one and got progressively worse for each one.

Teeth 10-09-2007 02:05 AM

I didnt watch the whole movie. I watched the beginning when I was a little kid.
I found it really sad how the Actor..Brandon Lee..was killed on set.
Its so cool how his dad was bruce lee! 8D
HIYA!~

[-Teh Darkfyre-] 10-11-2007 06:14 PM

I never saw any of them after the first one. I'm a die hard fan of The Crow though, so I wouldn't mind seeing the others.

Hedjie 10-11-2007 08:45 PM

I've watched The Crow, and I loved it. I totally understood why my dad likes it, and I find it such a shame that Brandon Lee was killed on set.

One of the things I remember most clearly from the film was the Jesus joke. The atmosphere and the way he told it just added to the humour, or maybe that's just me being a little twisted in the head... :D

The other thing, of course, is when Eric was playing guitar on the roof of his house. That was pretty awesome... xD

MaskedDream 10-11-2007 09:03 PM

The first movie was awesome the others just weren't the same without Brandon Lee its sad that he did during the making of the movie.

Clair Voyant 11-17-2007 09:48 PM

I've never seen this!

DelilahHeart 11-17-2007 09:51 PM

Oh I adore that movie so much. It's awesome.
I have to admit that Eric is the best character along with the younger girl. It never ceases to amuse me. I wish I owned it though.

Which version of The Crow? There are two that I know of. One older (I think it is older) one with someone I don't know the name of about a man wanting to be like the devil (haven't seen it in a long time, so I don't really remember); and one with Brandon Lee in it (he died while making the movie). I love both versions, the main characters are so Hot! LoL! And I love the tight leather outfits and the face paint! ^_^

manic monochrome 11-23-2007 12:36 PM

amazing movie.

Spunkifull 11-27-2007 04:00 AM

Great movie.
I love how dark and gothic it all looked.
It's actually based on a comic book if anyone feels like going and hunting it down.

Bunai 08-15-2009 08:58 AM

old thread is old. Well, I wanted to comment.
I was very fascinated with the first movie. It was quite different from what was going on at the time. It was a few years (no net then) after watching it, that I found out it was based on a Comic Book.

I actually found the second movie to be pretty decent; by using the death of a father and son, I found it quite touching.

I saw a bit of the TV series, but couldn't get into what was going on. I don't remember it being bad or good, lol I just don't remember it.

I don't think I ever saw Salvation, but I did see Wicked Prayer... hilariously bad. The lead Actor was trying too hard to be Lee's version of The Crow. And by looks alone, he wasn't very intimidating or mysterious. He looked like a little teenage boy in white makeup, who liked being a turd

Demon_of_the_Sand 12-15-2009 06:11 PM

you got

the crow
the crow city of angels
the crow salvation
the crow stairway to heaven
the crow wicked prayer

i have seen all and i like the crow and salvation the best
