Well, lately is seems that alot of comics are making their way to the big screen. Very few game and animes have made it. With the new jumps in computer animation we should have no problems doing alot more with video and able to make some of our favorite animes and video games into live action movies. What video games and or Animes should be made to live action?

I have always been a fan of Final Fantasy and i know of a few FFs that would make a good movie, namely 7 and 10 having a really good storyline. I also have liked Dragon Ball and i know they have had plans on making the live action movie. I really would like to see that as well as Vampire Hunter D, maybe Bleach would do well ^^ Lately i have been playing God Of War (part 1) beat it in a day and unlocked the costumes) but following the story to that game really got me into it, so i believe that a live action movie would do well.

So let me know what games and or animes you would like to see as a live action movie ^^

  I think it'd be cool to see the Warcraft I, II, III (haven't played this one yet though) and Starcraft games made into movies. I'm a nut for those two strategy game series. I haven't a clue what goes on in World of Warcraft though. XD

Ah yes, Warcraft would be a good movie i think and yes FFVII advent children was a good movie and if they could just convert the story from the game into a movie. Alot of game/anime storylines are very original and unique. I really think we need something new, with all these remade movies we all seen so many times its getting boring ; ;

I think a lot more Anime series have been made into movies than I really realized at first. There were two Death Note movies just out last year, and while they changed basically everything in the ending, they still did a decent job on it. I've also seen the two Nana live actions, as well as Saikano and a few others. There really are a lot more of them turning into live actions lately, and while they may not be Anime that everyone outside in Japan has heard of, there have been plenty.

That being said, I hope that someday they'll come up with a Get Backers live action. That would be pretty awesome to see on the big screen. =)

Yes, alot of animes have been made into live action, like Akira, Fist Of The North Star, The Guyver and many more i cant think of right now. Though most were made a long time ago, they really should make more.

Well, they are currently make an Animal Crossing Wild World movie in Japan, so I really want to see that movie once it comes out. ^_^ It looks pretty funny.

I kind of wish they would make a MagaMan movie, but, if there already is one, I'm not aware of it. O_O;;;

A movie that I would not like to be seen made would be a Zelda movie. They would probaly be forced to make Link talk in some sort of fashion, and I would not like that. T-T I enjoy pretending wh at is voice is like in my head, I don't need some movie ruining that for me! T-T

Hehe, animal crossing ^^ that would be funny. I dont think i seen any megaman movies... it would be k0ol to see that.

I'd love to see a Metal Gear film. It's one of those few video games that would really translate well into being a movie.

YES! MG would be k0ol, they can do from the first MG and up and they would all rock!

Oh! i was just thinking, the Parasite Eve video game would make a really k0ol movie as well or even the Xeno series. I loved the story to Xenogears, it was awesome!

Evangelion Movie...

That...well...everyone wants to see it...no official word on it yet...

Hehe, yes, it is a anime that alot of people have loved. Though i dont know how well they will pull it off without it looking like a cheap Godzilla movie. If ever it was made, it better be as good as the anime of they will have alot of pissed off fans! ^^

Every time I think of live-action video game movies, I think of The Super Mario Brothers...

Dude, they made Bowser a middle age man with creepy blond hair.
And Yoshi, oh poor Yoshi.. Yoshi looked like a scary dinosaur from Jurassic Park. Don't get me started on the Goomba henchman...

Although, I do like Advent Children, mainly because it was made by the company, and it was animation. Animation would be the best if they make any video game movie.

Parasite Eve already has a film. It's nothing like the video game at all. It wasn't very good either.

i personally don't like live-actions too much... i guess because usually live-actions don't follow the storyline too much and the only reason i went to watch the live action was because i liked the manga or anime to begin with... ^^; i think if a story was made into manga, anime and live-action, i almost always like in that order too... manga best... live-action worst... XD

i think games that became anime are only sometimes good... i think i liked the xenosaga one... not to much the ragnarok online one... i LOVED ff advent children... the graphics were just <3<3<3

i think the films of games made by the US are usually nothing like the video games... i think they take the idea and make their own storyline... >.>

personally, i would like to see the lunar series made into anime/3D animation... also persona.... cuz those are my fave games... lol... and i think they have good storylines too... =)

Well, I like Sailor Moon Live Action, but of course, the first episodes were so bad, they were awesomely funny. xD Uh, but it's not a movie, it's an actual TV series in Japan, but yeah.

Oh, but I bet that a bunch of young Japanese kids are scarred now. xD I know you could download it from the actual TV website that did it. o_O :shock: I don't remember what did it though. xD It actually became more of a quality show later on though, with 50+ episodes, it got much better. XD

the only 'video game' i can think of right now that was made into a movie was Dead or Alive.. which i didn't watch

i would love to see all the final fantasy storylines made into real movies for everyone to enjoy..not everyone is great at games and i think a lot of the storylines are great..plus i would love to see a movies interpretation of it..not sure if they should be real people or just computer graphics..it be interesting to see

I'm holding onto the hope that maybe someday they'll make a BioShock movie. The game is such an incredible, horrifying and actually emotionally engaging piece of artwork. This of course leads to the terror that someone like Uwe Boll would sink his gnarled talons into it and utterly ruin it, so I'm kinda divided.

But holy god, I would love to see a real-life Big Daddy on the movie screen. *_* <3

I know it's not a anime or an actual video game but i have to say Avatar: The Last Air Bender. I think it would be the greatest fantasy movie ever. I mean we already seen how cool Spiderman, Fantastic Four and Transformers look in a live action film with all the special effect. So wouldn't be great seeing real people fighting with real martial arts with special effects bending? And the dramatic scenes would be more emotional because it's actual people. The spirit world would look awesome if made right and all the cities they would go to would look so beautiful.

I would really love to see Devil May Cry, Vampire Knight, or Ouran High School Host Club into a live-action movies. Devil May Cry has been rumored to be in the works of it's development. However, there's been no factual word besides it's copyright. Vampire Knight and Ouran would be just for my satisfaction. :D

Yeah, but you have hits and misses and the misses kinda make the idea of real actor conversions a little bit tough to imagine, some animes might make it work but some others are rather hard to see work out. Though I would love to see something be done with Trigun.

I'm PRETTY sure they are thinking about a warcraft movie..i heard some rumors about it :)
