The third movie was a love-hate thing for me. There were moments when I was like, "YES!!!" and then there were times when I wanted to claw my own spleen out. I would have to say that I like the first one the best, simply because it had the fewest of the latter type of moments. The second one had them, but not as bad.
Granted, of the three movies, the first one has the weakest display of villains, but it has other redeeming qualities that the other two do not (*coughlessMaryJanedramacough*).

I actually didn't care for the first one. I'm pretty set when it comes to that. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to these comic turned movies. I like the old story line more than the new one... And I don't care much for Toby McGuire's acting.
Though I never saw the second movie, I did see the third one. It was ok. I laughed... probably more than I was suppose to but whatever.

I like the remix (where I shove together my favorite parts from all of them into one great mess). Since that doesn't exist, though....... Probably the second one? The third one had fun parts (Topher Grace actually made a good villain. I was surprised.), but a lot of it did seem like "let's re-do Spiderman!". That was why we HAD a Spiderman I. I like that in the second one Mary Jane (grr) finally figures it out. Hello, you've known him since forever? And they sound exactly alike?
And the train scene was fun.
I didn't like that Harry Osborne died.... I didn't like the Sandman much (it sucks; he's not actually a villain--he's doing the wrong things, perhaps, but for the right reasons). So, yeah. Sadness there. And I didn't like the idea of "Ooh, you want me to kiss someone else? In public? In front of my girlfriend? In the same way that we had OUR first kiss? Okay!" Seriously. It could've worked BEFORE she knew that he was Spiderman. It could've worked before they were dating. But not after.

I totally agree with Alegretto's love of the Jameson scenes. He's so ridiculous that it's wonderful.
My favorite had to be the second. I love the parts where superheroes must divulge their secret identities to others - which in turn gives them the recognition they deserve. I was incredibly giddy after the end of the second, ready to re-watch it minutes later. After the third, however, I simply felt like it was enough - not necessarily out of excellence, but mundane satisfaction. The whole evil dancing thing and emo-Parker were also a little too superfluous to me.
As a plus, Bruce Campbell was in all three movies. XD But he was best in the second one. The only villain to ever defeat Spiderman and live, bwahahaha.

Spiderman 1.
Totally.
Whenever you do a series to a movie, they always go down hill.
Spiderman 2 I couldn't stand. I hated the plot and everything, with the whole Dr. Octopus man or whatever. I didn't even watch the whole movie because I got bored..
Spider man 3 was a complete waste of time and money. It was practically a preview for the next movie! No story, just an Prologue!
And also, Sandman. He got super cell-manipulating sand powers by being tossed around by radio active RODs in sand? I see...even when he was torn cell from cell..he still managed to have his clothes on when he rose out of the sand...
Lame.
Yet Spiderman 1 was a great memorable movie!! ^^

That's comic book physics for ya.
I believe the comic explanation is that his clothes are actually made of sand, but he's able to control it to the point it looks like normal clothing. I think it's the same principle as when Mystique changes into a different person, she creates that person's clothes out of her own body mass.

I actually didn't really like 3.
So it's between 1 and 2 for me.
I always liked Doc Oc as a villian and the first one really seemed to capture the series. *shrug*

The first was still my favorite.
I saw no reason to mess up the whole storyplot with Spiderman Three.
It was just horrible. Now kids will have false information about the spiderman series. (they'll be watching the cartoons, horrified of what actually did happen!)

Ahh, Spiderman.
I really enjoyed all of these films.
But If I were to really think about it, I'd have to go with the first film. It just blew me away.
The plotting was fantastic. They made the characters grow at a nice even pace. I loved the visuals, and the actors within the film. Everything fit perfectly. I don't know how many times I've watched the first film. I'm sure it's a lot more than I've watched the second and third films. I actually have the first film on DVD, and I don't have either the second or third film. So I guess that would also come in to play when choosing which film was my favorite.
I think they did a fantastic job with the first film. It left me wanting more. I was so happy when they said they would make another one. Then the second came out, and I left the movies thinking that while I enjoyed the movie, it didn't leave me in awe like the first one had.
So yeah, definitely the first film.

I saw only the third one and only because my silly emo friend made me go with him... I didn't like it at all, but I laughed a lot during the movie. Yep. So I have no interest in seeing the first two parts.

I definitely liked the third one best, not really a fan of any of them but I thought it was cool when he goes all "emo"/darkish. Fun stuff

I'm fond of all of them.
Very comicbook, I think the movie had a good balance of realism and fantasy. Unlike Nolen Batman (bleh).
The third was a bit too fast for me, but I enjoyed it. There wasn't much focus on Spider Man, but there was a lot on Pete and the other two characters. It's hard to shove a lot of people on screen and give them screentime.
Marco's story was a bit... sappy, but what are ya gonna do?
Eddie (Venom) ... was entertaining. Just not enough time to know the character, but choice in actor was wrong, mostly because he's just too scrawny.
I like how Spidy just doesn't give up, that is what makes him a great hero.

I didn't know there was Spider man three.
Never saw that one.I enjoyed both the first and second movie. I always thought it had a better plot an a more interesting protagonist then most of the types of movies. I am quite fond of movies that make sequels as well.
I heard some more serious fans of the series didn't like it at all due to the changes they made. So I suppose being a causal comic fan helped make it more enjoyable for me.

personally... the 3rd was a bit dissappointing for me because there was so much hype for it and then they packed so much into it that the plot was not that well developed? i mean they put in goblin jr, venom, the black spider suit, and the sandman into 1 movie. isn't that a bit much?
so i'd have to say my favorite was the 1st handsdown because of how they portrayed all the characters and i was actually really amazed at the way they reproduced spiderman's powers and the green goblin's gadgets with the special effects. especially for the time that it came out.

I think if they would have removed Sandman from the third movie, the plot would have went a lot smoother. There would have been more focus on Harry and Eddie.
Perhaps if there is a 4th. There will be a bit better focus on what is going on.
I personally wished they had focused on Pete and Harry.
