Pushing Daisies
I was just obsessing over my latest favourite TV shows-- I am so phsyched for the 4th season of The Office! OO: Michael and Dwight are as hillarious as always, and Jim and Pam are so cute. <3
But the real reason I made this topic was about a new television series called Pushing Daisies-- has anyone seen it? In short, it's about a guy who is obsessed with pies and has a special power to bring people back to life. 1 touch = brings them back to life, 2 touches = dead forever. :C There are so many other details that I could get into, but not now. O: So anyway, I was just wondering if anyone watches that at all? Because it's apparently not very popular at the moment, and critics are i guess saying that it might not capture the audience because it's a little TOO quirky, but it is SUCH an amazing show. Opinions? Ideas? Post away! <33 |
I've heard that it's good, but due to my lack of a television, I can't really watch it.... Since it's on ABC (I think), there should be reruns online, though..... *hopes*
It sounds interesting; I would like to at least check it out. |

Theres a new season for Law and Order CI.
Im sooo happy about it! And same with House! <333 His team left him and now hes stuck by himself. xD and hes trying to prove to the girl that he can do this all on his own. xD its funny really. lol |
Ooh. I wanted to watch Pushing Daisies, but I just didn't... I watch Gossip Girl though. Mainly because I read the books, but I like it nonetheless. ^^ |
Pushing Daises, according to the commercials, looks funny with an unfortunate twist. The whole how he touches people asks how they die then touches them again and their dead thing seems pretty funny. But I haven't had a chance to watch it just yet..

I keep meaning to watch Chuck, but I forget every single time it's on. D: It looks interesting though, maybe I can catch reruns one day. |

I semi-watched and overheard the first episode from my computer, and it seemed pretty interesting. It gave off the feel of Dead Like Me and little bit of Dexter (the second of which is one of my favorite shows). I'd probably watch more of it given the chance.
On a different note, did anyone catch the show based on those Caveman commercials? I wasn't too impressed, though I only saw part of it. |
I saw the first episode and I really liked it! I think it's a really creative show.

Does anyone know how many shows have aired so far? I'll try to look it up if I can remember and see what night and time it comes on. As long as it doesn't come on the same night and time as Supernatural, it's all good :lol: |
Pushing Up Daisies is BRILLIANT!
I mean, despite it being on a rather morbid subject, I.E. Death and bringing the dead back to life for cold hard cash, the show is suprisingly, wonderfully endearing. I am praying either for many seasons or many spin-offs. I would even let my absurdly influencable nephew, who is five and cuter than sin, watch it! Last nights episode was awesome too! First, I loved how it ran on with the 'Daisies' thing. Second, it dealt with an eating disorder, something rarely done in such media. I would chat more, but I have class to get to. I've seen the ad for that series when I was in New York City during my holidays this summer with my Dad. I thought it looked pretty interesting and funny but since I live in Germany I don't know whether it will ever be on TV here... Maybe I'll have to get it somewhere on the internet... |

I saw the first episode and LOVED it! I missed the first half of the second episode and need to be unlazy and find it on the web.
I love it's quirkyness and the narrator in the background, he comes in at perfect times. I hope Ned and Charlie get together in the end(: |
