Well, not the kind of scary that would make me have bad dreams for a month or anything, but with it being 3-D, and with some of the more suspenseful scenes, I'd get really freaked out sometimes. But that's probably just cause I'm a crybaby. :( But the only part I really thought was funny, was when Beowolf said "I've come to taste some of your husbands delicious meat"(I was NOT the only one who laughed at that). And the naked fighting, with the strategically placed objects. So ok, I guess it was sort of funny. |
the book is in the store i saw it i really wanted it but i had no monies and my parents wouldnt let me get it because it was 10 dollars

The movie was awful, in my opinion. D:
I love the poem though. It's one piece of literature that regardless of how many times I've read it, it never gets old AND I always find something new. ^__^ |
Edit.

The animation was kind of amazing for being a style that has its imperfections. It is hard to do such a thing in limited time and not have flaws. |
Lol. I don't think there can be a sequel... it's based off an ancient story. I recently read part of Beowulf in English at school. It wasn't horrible, but it was kind of hard to understand until you could understand the pattern. It's an interesting story though. |

And to make myself sound like a total pessimist, the CGI was boring. Give me real actors with CGI special-effects any day, but if I wanted to go see a CGI cartoon, I'd watch Reboot. c_c;; To each their own! |

(But darnit, now I wanna watch Reboot, Mousey.) |
Nudity eh..Now I see why my hubby wanted to go see it... lol jk I don't care about that kinda of thing. I like the style of it, it's like cartoonish realism.
I haven't gone to see it yet but it's one of the ones we were thinking about. |
