My favourite jdramas/jmovies are: Hana Yori Dango I/II Hana Kimi Hotoru no Hikari Battle Royale I/II Deathnote I/II Taiyou no Uta Gokusen etc. For kdrama/kmovies: Fullhouse Coffee Prince 200 pounds of beauty Ms.Kim's Million Dollar Quest Over the Rainbow Goong-Princess Hours Jumong Credited Wang 4 God A Moment to Remember Witch Yoo Hee Snow White Autumn Tale (T^T) My name is Sam-Soon My Girl Let's Go to School Sang Doo Love Story In Harvard The Vineyard Man Attack On The Pin-Up Boys (rofl) Two Guys etc. Cdramas/Cmovies: My Lucky Star Smiling Pasta Romantic Princess Why Why Love Devil Beside You Hana Kimi Brown Sugar Macchiato Tokyo Juliet It Started With A Kiss (sorta) I recommend all of these to you guys~! <3 They are so good. i have battle royale on DVD(1 and 2) and I've heard of a live action death note(i saw the movie death note at a dealer's shop at a con...) so I'm gonna watch it soon, where did you see it?

Coffee Prince
200 pounds of beauty I love Coffee Prince. It started a week or so before I got back to Korea. The second one I may know it but I am not sure. Oh gawsh, have you ever watched like the little bride or something. Child Bride? Oh and Don't Tell Dad? Or something like that? I actually know Korean and don't understand why they use the names they do when they convert Korean to English. |
I'm trying to watch as many on your list as possible...*gasp* death note is getting so good...and i know the guy who plays light, he's Shuya in battle royale too, right?

I've seen the first Deathnote movie, but not the second one yet. Liked the first one, though; 'twas pretty good for a live-action adaptation of an anime, and I thought they did a good job working Ryuk in and making him look "real".
I'll have to check out some of the others you mentioned XD I /really/ got to like Chinese cinema last year when I took a class in it. We watched a great bunch of movies for that. Some of my favorites: "Ermo" - About a woman who lives in a small town saving up to buy a television. "Springtime in a Small Town" - Really subtle and complex story about an old couple, and what happens when an old friend of the wife pays the family a visit and shakes things up. "Ju Dou" - Earlier Zhang Yimou film that's creepy as heck in a psychological sort of way. About a man who dyes cloth, his abused young bride, his adopted nephew and the resulting affair. "Eat Drink, Man Woman" - Taiwanese movie about a cook and his three daughters, and finding romance. Reminded me of a fairy tale in a good way, and also made me really hungry ^^; |

I haven't watched a lot yet but I plan too. XD So far I watched (and loved) Hana Yori Dango Hana Yori Dango II Hana-Kimi Short list I know. I paln on finishing reading/watching Death Note, watch the live actions then watching more dramas. XD |
I like a mixed variety of dramas from Taiwanese to Korean to Japanese. of course, i read the subs. but i sometimes don't for the Taiwan dramas.

Um, I really like the Korean horror, 'A Tale of Two Sisters', 'Wishing Stairs' and the Japanese 'One Missed Call'. I'm not really a fan of drama movies, but I've seen one or two, only I can't remember their titles to recommend them. XD
