What programs you've watched when this has happened.
Well, I don't watch TV much anymore, I usually sit at the computer now but before, I'd watch a Charmed episode and it'd say. "To be continued..." except when I watched it, they'd do two episodes in a row ^^
Another show was...um...what was it called again...oh yeah, What I Like About You. It didn't exactly say "To be continued...", but it was at a HUGE cliffhanger and I was like "NOOOO" I don't want to wait till tomorrow Dx

xD I watched this video in Spanish today about these four kids trying to make plans for the day, but this one girl kept forgetting things that she had to do. And when they finally figure out something to do, the corner of the screen says "Continuára..." and I still got mad. So did the rest of the class.
When my personal favorite show (The Office) has something requiring a one-hour time block (as opposed to the usual thirty minutes) the next show gets kicked right off the air that week and they get their hour done! :D
However, there was quite a season-ending cliffhanger in Season Two... there was no actual "to be continued."
However, the end of Season five of Scrubs ended with Kim saying, "I'm pregnant," and then a big fat "To be continued." I was angry. I was enraged. I had had it! DDD:<

xD Its increasingly frustration when it that happens. Especially if its anime with a cliffhanger ending. Unless its like, Bleach or something. It kinda gets old after a while. But Death Note. Damn, does that know cliffhangers. And middle shockers. @ [email protected] Scared the heck outta me several times, it did!

@Dystopia: O the cliffhangers in Death Note were very good!!! I am so glad that I watched that series after all the episodes had aired already. I don't think I could have waited because the storyline was just sooo good!
- reminisces about Death Note -
I also agree with you about the Bleach endings becoming boring. Every single episode ends with 'To be Continued' so it has completely lost its meaning for that series.

Ugh. I do hate that.
It's like, they build up to this point where you are about to either cry, pee your pants, or some odd combination and then BOOM. They slip it right out from under you and it's always some fun thing like the show you bloody HATE always manages to wiggle it's way on after this to be continued nightmare. So not only are you dreaming of what on earth might happen, you are sitting there with your eyes bulging going "You Cannot Be Serious."
And then your trusted familly member goes "Oo Oo! I love this show! Finally some GOOD television."
XP
Oh the humors of every day life.

The point of the to be continued screens is to keep people addicted to the program, so I don't really find it horrible. I mean, when I was a kid, I used to brainwash myself with Yu-Gi-Oh, and they had those panels ALL THE TIME.
Over time, I've learned to deal with them so I don't see it as a problem anymore. In short, they don't annoy me. ^ ^
