Good Movies that you can only see Once?

So, is there a good movie that you can only see once?
Remember, good movies. haha. Were they too long? Actors were not passable? Background was horrible? Bad camera view? etc. that you could only see it once?

My list
-Kong: Talk about long! The camera, graphics, everything was amazing for it. However it was way too long. I would love to watch it again but it seems that I never have the time.
-Lord of the Rings Trilogy: It was the same thing as Kong. (wasn't it the same director too?) I would love to watch the trilogy again in my spare time though. Talk about twelve hours that I have to spare to watch all three. haha.

So, do you guys have any?

Bleak House! That movie is about 7 hours long! I love it so much, everything about it is amazing, but for one thing I don't own it and for another thing, it's so long!

The Green Mile. I loved that movie, it was amazing and everything, but I don't think I could ever watch it again. It was long, and I know it would make me cry every time I watched it.

Pan's Labyrinth.

It's not really a movie that you could watch again and again. But it was definitely one of the best movies that I have ever seen--it was practically flawless. Check out the reviews for it on rottentomatoes.

I definitely agree!
It is one of my most favorite movies.
(I haven't seen that in a while. xD.)

I agree. I doubt I could ever watch it again despite what a great movie it is.

I may have liked it enough, but I doubt I could ever sit through any of the Lord of the Rings movies more than once. They were too long for my taste to do so. :(. I also never would watch the Santa Clause 3 more than the time I was forced to- it felt like I was watching a made for TV movie when I was watching it, and I never want to experience that feeling again when I watch a movie that once was in theaters. It was just that bad.

Was Santa Clause 3 good? (I like the first one.)
I didn't watch it yet. Maybe I should check it out.
I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, however it's too long. (especially since I got all of them in the extended edition for christmas.) So really it is just longer than the regular ones. haha. xD.

The Santa Claus 3 was totally a made for TV movie that was released in theatres : (

Usually if I find an amazing movie, and it's extremely long, or I don't like one particular aspect about it, I'll watch it again regardless just to appreciate the work put into it.

So far mostly M. Night movies *Sixth Sense, Lady in the Water, etc.* because even though they're REALLY good I can't watch them again because I already know the ending and since it's suspense...the suspense is gone. XD The only movie of his that I can watch over and over is Unbreakable. C'mon! Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, superhero theory. Gotta love it. >w<
Another would have to be Pan Labyrinth like a bunch of others have said...it was really good but some parts I don't want to see again.

"10th Kingdom. It is a good movie plot wise, most of the actors are fairly good. Over all, it is a decent movie, the only problem is.. as I clocked it, it is eight hours and fifteen minutes long. I'm sorry, but I can only sit still so long."

"The Mexican"
starring Brad Pitt & Julia Roberts

(IMO) It wasn't the best performance by either of the leads. I don't remember too much of the Movie, but...

It was well worth the $7 ticket to see Julia Roberts break Brad Pitt's nose. Both my youngest sister & I went to see it just for that reason, and only that reason.

Borat would probably be another movie I could never watch again. I'm not a fan of hidden camera type shows, so the whole thing made me feel nervous. However, seeing him [SPOILER]kidnap Pamela Anderson was well worth sitting through the whole thing.

Most horror movies I can only watch once because I already know the ending and it's no fun anymore. xD

I also agree with the Pan's Labyrinth.

Taliah 03-07-2008 07:03 PM

@MasterChiefrei, I agree with the M. Night Shamalyan movies. Once you see it the first time, the suspence is slaughtered and the scary parts just become funny.

This is a tough question for me, actually, but I'd have to say Fantastic Four. The show did not live up to what I thought it should have been. It seemed like all they did was cry and whine about trying to get rid of their powers, Johnny was horribly immature and stupid, and none of them seemed to be redeeming in quality, or even have that interesting of characters
.

I liked the movie Lady in the Water and The Lake House.
