Naploleon Dynamite
M'kay I decided to post a new topic =] Partly because I need gold haha, Don't we all? But I also love this movie, its great! There may not be a story line, but its pretty much HilariousXD It may be a bit violent but my favorite part would have to be when The man is out in the field about to shoot the cow and right when he shoots it a school bus stops in front of it XD That is soooo funny to me.... I wasn't a big fan of Naplolean Dynamite.
It was really pointless, seemed like an amatuer movie. It wasn't funny, it had funny parts, but the movie as a whole was kind of lame. Worst usee of $2.99 ever. =__=; |

In the four times that I have tried to watch it I have fallen asleep, because I think it's boring and stupid. I think you would have to be like high or seriously drunk to enjoy that movie. So I still have yet to watch that movie. But from what I have stayed awake for I has not given me reason to credit it as a enjoyable movie.
Though each is entitled to their own opinion. And that's mine. |

I have watched this movie, I can't say I care for it. Though there are a few parts in the movie I found funny. When Napoleon was in the thrift store, I just find that funny because he's LDS (John Heder)...and yeah. Also, when Pedro says, "I dunno, build her cake."

omg! I love that movie. I always say thats my favorite movie and people are always like "what?!? that movie is stupid" but I think its stupidity makes it funny :lol: Justin every little thing about it is funny. Like the whole 80's thing, and Kip and Lawfawnda (sp?) lol that movie is hillarious.

I was really not fond of this movie. When it was over I blinked several times, looked at my mate and said, "I don't understand... what was the point? I want my two hours back." But he laughed and laughed all through the movie and after it and just thought it was the most amazing thing. It is really strange because he and I have such similar tastes in movies for the most part, but this one... well, I guess you either love it or hate it, there is no middle road.

er... it does have a plot, but it's not as predominate in the movie because it's not plot driven, it's character driven.
The movie itself is a character study, and to be quite honest, it wasn't supposed to get as huge as it got. It started out in indie theatres, and since the educated populace that tend to visit that type of theatre appreciated it (because it is funny, and well made despite what anyone says) it got picked up because the layman could probably find it funny as well... and for the most part, they did, although the underlying purpose was lost in the process. "Dur napoleon's a nerd haha". Whatever. |
I "watched" that movie during a party for orchestra, all of my friends thought it was boring and so did I. There wasn't anything funny going on, and it was so slow. I dunno, not my kind of movie I guess :'D

I saw this movie. I didn't want to but I did it anyway. The first time I watched it I laughed and laughed. Now when I watch it I think "what's the point?"

This movie became an instant classic.. yet a lot of people hate it.. I personally enjoyed this movie quite thoroughly.

I love this movie. It's stupid, pointless and it's funny without trying so hard.
It's so normal and abnormal at the same time haha. Vote for Pedro! :lol: I think it's really hilarious when Napoleon stuffed those cafeteria-food-something in his pants' pocket. Gotta love his dance. |
I wasn't really keen on it. It had a few parts that made me giggle, but nothing spectacular. I do, however, enjoy other movies with napoleon in them. Benchwarmers is amazing. xD I also love balls of fury, and that new spoofeh movie, semi-pro. Meh, it's hit-and-miss with me, I guess. >w<
