Older shows?

So, as I look around here...I mostly see references to shows from the 90s-today. So what I want to know is, who here is a fan of those shows that are older than many of us here on Mene? XD

My parents like to show me the old shows they liked when they were new, so I'm very familiar with a good number of shows that are older than I am. For instance, when I went to public school (kindergarten - third grade) and for a little while afterward, I would wake up and watch Gilligan's Island every morning. I still like that one. I can't help it, it amuses me. XD Recently, Mork & Mindy has been airing on a local station. I've grown to quite like that one, too. And I've LOVED Get Smart ever since the first time I watched it...I'm not sure if that was 8, 9, or 10 years ago, but whenever it was, I knew I loved it right away. Going even older still, I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode of I Love Lucy at least once. It's not my favorite old show out there, but there's something about it that just ALWAYS manages to make me laugh.

Those are the ones I watch on TV.

My dad has a show called F-Troop on DVD. He's forced that one on me a few times..and yes, it did amuse me. X] He also has various other older shows on DVD...though I can't name all of them off the top of my head (although Topper is standing out to me at the moment, largely because I love the whole ghost theme). I'm sure I'll remember them as this thread goes alpng, though...or when I look at his DVD collection. Either way works.

What about you? What are your favorite older shows? How do you watch them? What do you like about them? Is there anything you like better in older shows than newer shows, or vice-versa?

I'm curious as to who else likes these shows. :3 And...if this thread has been made before, I apologize. ^^; I looked, I really did.

Well, shows from the ighties, I suppose I really just have not been introduced to them! I remember 90's sitcoms well like Full House. But eighties wise or before, I have not seen much of. Does MASH count?

Unless you can think upon old cartoons like Quickdraw McGraw, Ricochet Rabbit, Tom and Jerry, that sort of thing. I still have a fond weakness for those sort of things. *laughs* Sadly, I can quote more cartoons than I care to count!
