Um... in my case it's more like 20 years ago, but I do and have actually gone a bought DVDs that have been released with a lot of the old shows I watched as a kid. My favorite was Rainbow Brite and my mom actually got the DVD collection for my first daughter, but we also ave a lot of the old Sesame Street that's been re-released on DVD and my second daughter adores those. We also have some old episodes of Care Bears and My Little Ponies and we got my brother a bunch of the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episodes for Christmas. Back before they had released all these shows though, I would spend hours and hours even days sometimes on a slow-as-anything dial-up connection downloading episodes that someone had uploaded online of Rainbow Brite. It's fun reliving childhood like that and I'm really glad I can share these things with my daughters and what's more that they really enjoy them too! ^_^
