No, I will rent a movie to see alone, or watch on tv alone, but if I m going to a theater I need to have a friend, or I feel like such a loser. Last time I tried I cried like a baby during a very funny movie, because "no one liked me enough to see this with me.." It was not worth the money or time spent.

I sometimes enjoy going to movies alone... It's relaxing, in a way.
Same with eating at restaurants alone.
(Unless people stare too much, then I just get annoyed and glare back)

I only go to the movies alone, when my husband doesn't want to see the movie and/or he's at work.

Last time I went alone to the movies was when I went earlier in the day to see Bratz. ^^

I've never gone by myself, I think it'd be bit boring considering that I like to makes comments through the movie, and have long conversations about it right after it's over and we're leaving the cinema.

I usually don't go to the movies at all, I usually rent them or something like that. But when I do go to the movies instead of renting, I always go with someone, I've never been to the movies by myself, but I don't see anything wrong in going by yourself. You may feel more comfortable watching a movie by yourself, just depends on each person.

Depends on the movie if I go alone.I dont really mind it though.I do hate going shopping or out to eat alone,I feel kinda weird.

I never have before but I'll probably have to start because no one wants to go see High School Musical 3 with me when it comes out and I'll want to see it at least twice.

I'm sure I'll feel really weird about it though. Maybe I'll sit in the back where no one can see I'm alone. :gonk:

ive never been to the theater alone, i wouldn't mind sitting by myself but i would feel kind of awkward just standing around waiting for my ride to pick me up.

i will probably start going alone once i have my own transportation.

I kind of like watching movies alone, since I pay attention to them better, but it's not as fun. I don't think I've even gone to the theater alone, though. I'm a bit too paranoid for that.

i wouldnt go by myself . its better to be with someone or people cause you guys can enjoy it together . if i saw a movie by myself, it be kinda lonely cause i like to be around people and making little jokes or comments when i watch movies . haha .

I did that only once thanks to a class project ... couldn't get anyone to go with me at the time >.>;;

It was an odd experience ... I probably wouldn't do it again, I prefer to have the company when i'm out like that <3

I prefer not to go to the movies alone. I mean, it is easier on me because then I don't have to go around another person's schedule or not have to pay for them in certain situations, but I just like having somebody there with me. That way I don't have to sit next to a stranger, who might make weird noises (like what happened when I went to see Wanted) or might have some nasty body odor. And it's always nice to make small remarks to somebody during the movie, just because it'll make them giggle.

Usually I go with other people, but I've gone to a couple movies by myself. It wasn't too bad, I could do everything at my own pace, no waiting on others to arrive or get snacks. And I had total control over where I sat, it was nice.

I really don't like going to the movies by myself...it makes me feel lonely. I like to have someone to talk to about the movie after I watch it, and I like to hang out with friends before and/or after the showing.

Since the advent of the DVD, I rarely go out for movies now. I used to do that though to unwind.

No. I always at least go with my sister. I don't drive so she has to take me plus it's fun watching movies with other people because you can laugh with them.

I hate going to the movies by myself, I feel all alone. plus the nearest theater is miles upon miles away do that means a solo car drive as well for a long time, solo movie than solo drive back, not really fun...

I never do cause I don't know how to drive so the person driving me would be my mom so we'd watch together :P

I go to movies alone a lot. I don't have a huge amount of friends (just the right amount for me :) ) so it isn't always that someone is available. Those who usually are tend to talk a great deal during the movie, and if it is a film I really want to get into I will go alone to see it first. Sometimes I just don't feel social, sometimes I just want to watch a movie on the big screen and go home...maybe I'm not the nicest person around? Haha.

I go to the movies with my friends or family. I do not go to the movies alone unless I am very obsessed with a movie I am dying to watch and no one is available to go with me.
