I herd that they are going to do a transformers 2. ^_^
I always loved the shows(Even though in the new episodes Transformers Animated, they didnt do a great deal on detailing with any of the transformers. v_v)As a kid and now there going to come out with the second Transformers movie! :eager::yumeh::squee:
So what do you think? Are you gald there making another one?or would you have licked it better if they just left it to the first one?

I'll be looking forward to the second Transformers movie. I never really watched the cartoons when I was little, unless Beast Wars counts, so I didn't go through the whole, 'Omg, they destroyed my childhood,' thing. Luckily. xD All I know is that the movie looked awesome, it was funny, and it was entertaining. So I liked it and, hopefully, I'll like the second one just as much.

Now, Hellboy 2 I'm not so sure about. The first one was okay. It wasn't something that I watched more than once, but my mom absolutely loved it. So she'll probably drag me out to the theater to see the second one. From what I've seen of it in trailers, Hellboy 2 doesn't look too bad, and I do jump at every chance I have to go to the theater, so I can't complain. xD

Try watching the animated series.They really screwed up on the characters..

I can't wait to see what story line they have for the second movie, wonder what world issue we're going to be seeing, i'm hoping its more a back track thing where they show more into the past of the robots themselves and how the decepticons became so dang evil and such
i'd love to see where they take this series and can't wait to see more of it
i loved the original series with cheetor and such when they landed on earth and the first animal they saw they imitated and became it
honestly i had hoped that be the type of thing the movie had shown
but i was far from dissapointed with the results that did surface instead
i'm hoping that its a far from over series they can do at least 2 more i'm sure
after all fans will stay fans if they don't entirely change right?

...its set in modern days, basically our time. and Truckers decorate their Semi's.
if the setting was the 80's i am sure he wouldnt have flames.

one thing i am glad about is that Megatron wasnt a floating gun, his lack of of a Shell covering stood out nicely. he cant stand humans.
it seems like the second movie will compensate the floating gun for a tank type of look, which is still giving homage to the original.

i think Bay handled TRYING to fit both Action and Story into a hour and a half- quite well. i was expecting to be disappointed, but i was only disappointed at the fact that the movie wasnt long enough.

and the fact is that Bay directed the movie, he had nothing to do with writing it.

... that would fall into the "Then don't watch it" category.

I'm pretty excited for it. I want to see what they are going to do next and how they are going to do it.

I was a fan of the cartoon when I was younger and they definitely change and in some cases messed things up in the first movie but I'm kinda okay with that. I look at it from the stand point of alternate universe stories, once you let go of the 'it has to be the same (which in transformers there are a few different histories)' the first movie was actually pretty good. It gives me hope for the second movie.

Although I hope Optimus loses the flames, I didn't really like those.

I'm excited that they are making a second movie. I really liked the first one. (I'm also one of those people that never saw Transformers as a kid.) I'm hoping the second one will be just as good if not better. My brother got to see them filming a scene at the Air and Space Museum or whatever it is called. He got me Shia Labeouf's autograph. ^_^ Sadly I was working that day and I couldn't go. :(

I can't wait for next summer (it comes out June 29th 2009). I have been following production news online all year.

Transformers 2 is more original tv show based. This is when Starscream returns and builds the underwater decepticon base as far as I'm aware. I never really saw the original cartoon as I'm not that old, but from what I've watched, they ruined Starscream's voice. He's supposed to sound more girlish.

IMO, Starscream's movie voice works for the movie.
Starscream's cartoon voice, works for the animation.

it would have been terrible to hear that shrieking in the live-action version, it just wouldn't have fit.

there is no "ruin". since the voice was original to the movie.
no one was imitating his cartoon voice.

I know Bunai ^^ It would've been nice to hear a slightly higher pitched voice though since they're basing some of it off the original cartoons, but Megatron's voice is awesome; Hugo Weaving really did well.

I will hope to see more Transformers in action, rather than humans ^_^
if there is a balance, that is okay.

In all honesty, when I first heard of the second Transformers, I wasn't sure whether I was psyched or dissapointed. I mean, the first one was great and all, don't get me wrong. And just like every other movie based on an original story/book/series, there's going to be let-downs, and things that we as fans would prefer to tweak. But I think the second one is going to be good. I'm really excited about it and despite how easily I can "tweak" the first one and criticize it, it's still one of my favorites! :)

As for Hellboy 2.
I was SHOCKED.

The first one was cute... not a favorite, but I liked it. But when I watched the second one, I was completely enraptured in it. Definitely got lost easily, and the actor playing the prince is one of my favorite actors! So.... definite kudos for all that. :)
Hmmmmm.... Who thinks there should be a Hellboy 3?.... little mini Hellboys running around? Too much? or great idea? Heheheh. I have yet to decide!

Anyone see the teaser trailer during the Super Bowl? I didn't watch the game, but somehow the trailer was avalable online hours before the game started. Worked out for me because I don't even like football.

And that Giant Wheel. Geez... Poor Optimus, once again getting kicked around by something that is 2xs his own size... well, in this case this thing is like 7x his size!

I'm very enthused for this movie. I'm a hardcore fan of the amazing CG and the transformation art. I think it's incredible. I'm a little incredulous, though, since Megatron was destroyed and he's usually the main villain.... It should provide to be rather interesting.

Bay went back and forth about Megatron not being in the 2nd movie.
For some reason a lot of people got angry about that... I personally found it funny XD

I hope he is in the second movie though. Even if he is a straight up bastard.

Now, Bunai says that Megatron should be in the movie? I say HELL NO!! I was like laughing my head off when Sam put the Cube into his chest, I was like "YESSS DIE YOU F****** BASTARD WAHAHAHA!!!!!!" But now he might come back!! NUU!!
And it's pretty funny, cuz on every Decepticon/Autobot test I've done, I've always been a Dicepticon... wouldn't that have meant that I'd be wanting Megetron to come back and kill Optimus? BUT NUU!! Optimus must kill Megatron!! It is the way of things!! And Bumblebee shall be adorable for eternity and whoever Sam's girlfriend is shall eternally be a slut!!
*gasp*
