I was noticing the other day when I was on Gaia, that I just like to mess around with outfits and I usually change it everytime I go online.
So I wondered if other people do this as well.

Here I don't do it as much, but that is probably because I don't have as many items. But I am happy with my current outfit.

So how many times do you change your avatar's outfit?
Why do you or don't you change it so often?
Do you go to change it but then end up leaving it the way it was? (Lol I do this all the time >.>)

I do the same thing on Gaia, yet I like my current outfit here for now, so I won't be changing it soon.

I am saving up for a pair of wings. They're 6000 gold here.

I change... whenever I feel like it, I suppose? >_>; Generally that's every few days, though I try to leave whatever I dress in until Admin's Pick has been chosen (not because I actually think I'll win most times, but wouldn't it be funny if I assumed I wouldn't and that was the one week Jellysundae decided mine was the best for the week?)

Usually, I'll stick with an avatar that has a "theme" for a few days, even if I want to change. For example - at the moment I write this, I'm wearing an avatar that is sort of themed towards, "The Lady of the Lake" from Arthurian legends. I'm not entirely happy with it, but I'm sort of pleased with the outfit I came up with, considering the limitations of the items we have at the moment.

But since I'm not completely happy with it, I think I want to change right now.

I change quite a bit. At least three times a week, if not more, on average. Lately I haven't been changing it up that much, but I have too many items not to put them to good use. XP

I try to change my look now and then.

Especially when new items are out.

It also depends on what item I have not used in a long while or not at all.

I can spend a good hour just picking out the outfit I want to change.

Heh at least I know I'm not the only one :)
I think it takes me about maybe 30 minutes?
Sometimes I just fool around and see what might look good with what :P

I think it depends on my mood. If I'm in a mood where I'm happy and I look at my avatar and love it and I'm like busy online..then I don't change it much. If I'm in a bit of a bad mood, or if I'm just really bored, then i might change it a lot because of boredom or because I'm unsatisfied with it. *blinks*

Right now I really wanna change it but I think I'll wait till wednesday to do it ^^

I only have one shirt, one dress, and one pant. all the SAME color. So I try to change things up, but I still look the same more or less.
Don't change too often though. Once in a while and then I cycle back through.
Whatever makes me look the longest at the time.

I rarely change my avatar's outfit. I find something I like and stick with it, you know? Heck, this is probably only the third or fourth outfit I've ever tossed on my avatar. Cosplays tend to last less, since I either get tired of the cosplay or find something BETTER to dress up as. Medic, I am looking at you!

Once a day when I am feeling in the mood.....sometimes it will last a week....but rarely longer then that.

Not very often,mostly because I'm always selling my old items for half of what I payed for them to help buy new ones. But whenever I do change my outfit,it's obvious.

Unless you have half a million topics to post in or lots of time to play games,it's harder to earn currency here in Menewsha because there are no supprise handouts for surfing or other activities,thus it is more likely for a person to change their outfit on Gaia because they quite possibly have the 'money' to do it. None the less,there are some fantastic items here which are totally worth the wait(In my oppinion),provided you can save up the gold. :)

I know i'm just new to this site, but I am wondering how you get the clothes for your avatar. If anyone can please assist me by telling me where to go for clothing i'd appreciate it!

I change it sometimes when I get new items. I might change it more often once I have a larger variety of clothes, but for now my avatar is sadly static for the most part.

Hi Nikolas, you can get clothes in the shops (click on the shops tab at the top right hand side of your screen). I changed whenever I have an idea what type of coloring I should use.

Plus, I change for the season.

A lot! It depends on how much time I'm spending online. If I'm here for the whole day, I get tired of my avi real quick and I change it.

Probably at least once a week on average, but it depends on how much I like my outfit.

When I get bored of it, or get a new item, generally. I'm never happy with an avi, so if I don't like it I'll keep changing it D:

On Gaia I change it nearly everyday, sometimes every once in an hour, but on Mene I'm more 'stable' and my outfits tend to last a little longer :XD

I like to change almost daily, though I try my best to stick with avatars for a few days at least. Even when I really like my avatar, I just like messing around with it too much!

Lol I do this all the time, I'll just mess around with the clothing and just end up keeping it the way it was XD
