Lol yeahhh - like, 15-20 below zero Fahrenheit :P
The lowest I can comfortably breathe in is around 45-50 degrees, but only if there's no wind/windchill :3
Haha yeahhh - I get called 15 or 16 all the time XD;
It was funny - a family member who hadn't seen me since I was little guessed my age was around 17-19 - so at least she was close LOL!
I don't get how I look so young :gonk:

@Roachi: LOL
Me too - I was down near Alex Bay (which is quite a ways away from me but is a huge winery town) and mom stopped at a Stewart's on the way back from a winery so I could get ice-cream. I got cotton-candy, but what adult wouldn't if they liked the flavor, ya know? Well, Mom had to go get something so she asked if I would get Dad lottery tickets when I paid for my ice-cream. I didn't have a problem with it, I knew what he liked, but I didn't have my wallet with me, I had mom's. I've never been ID'd back home, so I didn't really think anything of it. The woman wanted my ID because she said I looked 14-15. I'm like "....I'm 20 years old....." She's like "I'm sorry, you just don't look 20." I'm like "Ok. My mom will be over in a minute, I don't have ID with me. She'll have to get them." So I told Mom what happened and she rolled her eyes and laughed, told the woman I was 20, and then teased me all the way home about it xD;
I was not happy!
@Xuvie: Good luck hun!!
What's Practicum?
Hai hai!
Been wicked busy haha
Moving the store to another location - only 4 blocks away, but it'll make such a difference :3
Other than that I tried to get the V-Day hairpin but failed lol
So now I'm trying to get people out of the woodwork by showing that I'm offering on one :3
Hopefully I get bites!
If not, Eroy is selling St Patty '07 items I want, so I might just try for hers and see if I can't get one of those checked off my list :3

No biggies though - was just curious is all :3
What kind of internship is it?
@Roachi: Haha Me too!
I'll be so glad when I don't have to say I'm 19 anymore lol
The whole "teen" part just gives people the wrong idea and drives me crazy. And maybe once I'm 20 people will start looking at me like I'm 20? XD;

That must be awesome :)
I love architecture, but hate trying to design it xD;

Yup yup!
Impatiently waiting for it to get here lol
Then I'll be impatiently waiting until I turn 21. I can't get a liquor license until I'm 21, which seriously sucks because I want to use wine in our gift baskets, and I can't until I'm 21. :(

@Roachi: See - that's the confusing part. We really don't fall into any of the categories that there are for the licensing - so we're not really sure what I would get the license under. It's still selling liqueur though, even though it's in the basket, but it's not like I'm selling hoards of liqueur or anything. But either way I have to be 21 sell liqueur so there's no point in finding out what license until I get closer to my 21st birthday because Mom can't take the course as the business is in my name and so it has to be me :(
@Ayx: Lol - I know right? That's what I was thinking :P

But what about people who sell liquor in supermarkets that are underage??Wouldn't you fit into that category? They do it here...

Lol Nope - people working in supermarkets here can't sell the liquor if they're underage as far as I know :3
But either way no - I wouldn't fit into that category - The company itself still has to have a liquor license, and it would cover anyone selling liquor in their store. Since I'm the owner, I have to get the license. I can't until I'm 21 lol

Design in general is bad in my opinion. I don't get it. But I love designing big and small things.
Emmama, can't you get mom to apply for that license first?

@Emma - Thats just weird lol. I use to be a checkout operator at our local supermarket, and i was only 14-15 and selling that stuff. Its not like your selling it personally, its on behalf of the store. Don't know why it isn't legal there to do that. I mean if it was out on the street okay... its illegal. But it's an actual store and your not about to sell to a minor. You'd have to check IDs and stuff like we had too.

@Xuvie: Haha I just get inspired by what architecture I already see so I feel that I can't make anything different, other than mixing styles or something - but that's still not original, ya know?
If I were designing architecture I'd want it all to be original :3
Nopers! Unfortunately she can't because her name isn't tied to the business legally. While she's my partner in every way for the business, she's not the partner/co-owner on paper, so she can't get the license as it would have no legal tie to the business :(
I thought of that too :3
@Roachi: Yeah - you have to check ID and everything here as well, and you also have to check ID when the person is with children or it looks almost like they're buying it for another person - and you have to ID both people. You can also deny the sale of the alcohol if you feel it unsafe (aka, they look drunk or at least pretty tipsy and they have kids with them). But as far as I know you have to be 21 to sell it even on behalf of the store :3
I could be wrong though lol
I've never worked at a grocery store so I couldn't tell you for sure - but no one on the register at like, Walmart or something, is ever younger than their 20s :3
Either way it still wouldn't work for us because the owner of the business, which is me, isn't 21 :3
So even the business itself can't sell liquor until I turn 21 :3
I wish they'd let me 'cause I mean, all we want to do is put wine in some of our baskets - like with our wine jellies and wine vinegars - or a romantic wine, cheese, and nut basket etc. - it's not like we're selling liquor outright :cry:

It's not that I won't let her hun lol
There's a specific reason as to why it's in my name and she has no legal ties to it, even though she's very much a part of it. But I don't want to get into it as it's a long story that's really unimportant :)
But there is a reason as to why it's in my name and not hers what so ever :3
