My Quest - First a skirt, then the world!
An introduction to me and my quest
~~~
Hi there! I'm Byaggha. Welcome to my quest thread!
I've closed it for now, given the fact that I've gotten everything I wanted thus far and I honestly can't think of what else I want to accessorize with. Feel free to continue popping in on the thread though, because I'm chatty and friendly and I've got it on watch so I can stalk everyone who drops in. =3
Thanks a ton for the help, everyone who did! You guys rule. <3 For those interested in the kind folks who did offer me some aid, scroll on down to the donor post. And if you see them around this thread, thank them again for me! <3
The Rules
I've just made them up.
~~~
Seriously, I'm not a fan of throwing out a huge rules post, so I'll keep this short in the hopes that people are good enough to not need me to do a ginormous list.
There's only two right now:
1) Obey the Menewshan forum rules, and the rules for this specific forum.
2) Be excellent to each other.
That is all. Enjoy!

The Items!
A list of things I think would look kinda sexy together!
~~~
So, as you can see, I've got sort of pseudo-assassin look going on here. I got the idea shortly after signing up for Menewsha and perusing the shops that this avatar was going to be an assassin. But one with STYLE.
Her combat style is dual katar, and very much like a dance. Consequentially, I'm not looking for pants or the assassin skirt - she's in need of a harem skirt, among other things!
Anyway, I ramble. Here's the list as I'm thinking about it so far:
1) Black/Silver Patterned Harem Skirt - 650g, Menewshan Imports. OBTAINED! :D
2) Blue Temptress Hairpin - 500g, Headworks. OBTAINED! :D
3) Katar - 700g, The Armory. GIFTED WITH CHAKRAM INSTEAD! :D
4) Basic Grey Belt - 150g, Accentuate OBTAINED! :D
5) Starlit Roman Sandals (Will trade my silver ones for them!) - 175g, Hopscotch. OBTAINED! :D
6) Basic Healing Stockings - 100g, Hopscotch. OBTAINED! :D
7) Blue Harem Sleevegloves - 450g, Menewshan Imports. OBTAINED! :D
8) Some sort of jewelry
9) Maybe a cape? I'm not married to this one, but we'll see.
More will probably be added as I get time to peruse the shops fully; as it stands, though, that's what I'm thinking for a good start. =3
umm...one question though, you say your questing a Black/Silver Patterned Harem Skirt, do you mean the patterened one, because that one is 650g the plain black/silver one is 600g. I believe... XD Just so you know.
Sheesh! A five day weekend, luck-y~ Though I get three day weekends all the time - no school on Fridays, which is good, because after doing clinical on Thursday, I need the sleep. XD
I'd rather get three day weekends all the time....even with all my free days though, I still haven't done all of my homework... :sweat: I procrastinate far too much....
I do that too. It bit me in the butt this week, too...I pretty much bombed a test and drug my average down. And I so wanted it to be in the 80s for midterms.
It still might change though - I have the feeling a lot of my classmates will be arguing about the fairness of the exam. XD The class average was a point under passing.
O.o thats not good, but it sounds alot like my calculus class...lol, I think the only people doing well in it are the ones who took the lower calculus last year, so they already knew half the stuff we're learning. lol
Yeah, nursing's rough. High wash-out rate, too - last semester to this one, we lost almost 50% of the class. Highest fail rate ever, apparently.
Also, yay Thyme! Thank you! <3
Nursing is really rough. Not sure if it's the actual clinical part that distrubes people and they drop out then, or if the theory is too hard. Had people tell me they are scared about those life and death situations where you have to make a choice about a patient's care. Stress concerning that is pretty high, gotta figure though, you're training will kick in to assist you. Instinct and practical applications skills are key.
Should probably go back to school for nursing as it was my number field of choice, just hit bumps along the way to prevent me from getting there. *sighs*
The theory part is what's killing them, Andais - they do okay in clinicals, but when you get them to test...ack. They stress out, second guess their answers, change things...and fail exams because of it. It's pretty nasty.
Naisou, they've just been held back because of a failing grade. Like, I'm in nursing 3 now, and half my starting class is still in nursing 2 because of last semester's grades. Uh-gly!
I do that too though, the second guessing thing, I'm a bad test taker. *nod nod*
It's really nasty to be a test taker in nursing, too. They purposly word question in such a way that they often have more than one right answer, they just want the MORE correct one. It makes the tests a nightmare some days, especially for the second guessers.
O.o thats not good, don't you hate it when they try to trick you like that? AP courses do that alot too, which is practically all I'm taking this year. Yay for 3 hour tests in May!....*gag*
Bleh! Three hour tests? That is not cool! I'm kind of glad I missed the AP thing entirely, being Canadian. It sounds sucky whenever it gets described.
lol, yeah, it really is. and my government teacher left halfway through the year, so we now have a sub teaching us a college course, sad thing is I think he's teaching us more than our real teacher did, but....lol.
I really can't wait for this school year to end, I'm so tired of all the work.
