I unintenionally took a hiatus from Mene for about a year after I joined. I was so busy with other things that I forgot the site existed! That doesn't happen anymore, though. It's my homepage now.

I'm not sure where I'll hang out when the event is over. I know my rl friend frequents a parents thread.. but I'm not a parent so idk. I might feel out of place there.

Random question: Anyone know how to crochet? I've been working on learning to do the single crochet stitch but I'm confused a bit as to what to do when I get to the end of the chain when I need to turn it and start the next row? Can someone please explain this?

Generally, Kay...if you are doing single crochet on the row, then when you get to the end, you chain one, turn, and then do a single crochet in the top of the last single crochet you did at the end of the row.

If you are double crocheting the rows, then you chain 2 before turning...

10 topics at the same time, i struggle to handle two of them at the moment.

This isn't even half of what I got up to a few years ago!

Once I type a response, I let the My Account handle it to tell me when I can post another item.

whats the most topics you have been chatting in at the same time then?

I think I have subscriptions on about 10 or 12 threads for the event.

never really used the subscription options on mene, only tend to chat in one place at a time these days. Did do 3 or 4 topics back in the day but thats a while back now.

I like to have it set so that when I post to a thread, it automatically subscribes to it.

That way I don't forget which threads I've posted in.
