@ Cookie: yes, I know what you mean. I wanted to enter that one too, but with all the pies and leftover candy in the house, it seemed like it would be a bit to much sweets in the house to add something else.

Yeah, I was just too busy. And to be honest, I wasn't feeling very creative either. I wanted to make the Yan, but I didn't feel like I could get all creative with treats and bentos and stuff. :(

@ Cookie: I had one idea, but not everything I needed to make it though.

I guess I could have come up with something. Witch finger cookies or something. I didn't really look at the rules since I wasn't planning on entering. I'm not going to do anything now though. I'm gonna get off in a few to try to make a dent in my cleaning :)

Cookie, just be quiet about it. Okay? No joke. I came into this event believing I didn't need to click the button, just as at the last one. I went for it. It just happens I wasn't able to. Now I have to save up for who knows how long whenever I have time just so I can get all those ocmmons in all the colors I want. Do you think I like that?

I am not saying everyone who clicked the candy button is a loser, wear, or ANYTHING of the sort. I am saying that they didn't put themselves up to the challenge of earning their candy through 100% posting. I set a high goal for myself because I believed I could, not so you could go, "Haha! I TOLD you you couldn't! Not you have to literally pay for it!" This may be just the Internet, but cruel words are cruel words. I don't need you rubbing my failure in.

Maybe it hasn't shown down through the years, but I do tend to set high expectations for myself. I'm used to being able to meet whatever I set. I did it this event, and you know what? If we have another event like this, I'll do it again. Problem? If I don't manage to be able to, I'll just save and buy everything afterwards and do it yet again, because one of these days I will succeed again. I'm going to be stubborn about it. Make whatever remarks you like. I don't like it, no. Your jeering because I couldn't do it isn't making me feel any happier about it, so just leave me alone about the whole thing.

Sure, you can laugh at me for this post all you like. Call it a useless, foolish overreaction if you wish. Say I'm just being overly hurt because I'm disappointed and you had to make fun of me. Brush it off as stupid, but at least have the courtesy to stop poking fun at me for not being able to meet my goal. I regret nothing.
