@Tilly: I never thought of that. I've always wanted to be a doctor, but maybe I've been wrong this whole time!

@Iltu: Recordering skills aren't everthing. ;3 everyone's got their own talents haha

@Iltu: I noticed, I perhaps I shall become more involved, I do have nothing to do right now. Haha.

As for instruments, I've always wanted to learn how to play guitar and I can sing pretty good in my opinion. But i guess that everyone who enjoys music thinks of how cool it would be if you actually played it yourself.

I used to know how to play the violin myself. I gave it up because of a good-for-nothing Orchestra teacher. She totally ruined the violin for me. I still have my tiger-striped violin though. I may have to toy with it again one day and see if I can't get into it again.

V33P- You mean My Heart Will Go On? I love that song way more than I really should. One of the reasons I'm taking up cello is so I can learn it. :XD That, and I really want to learn to play Carol of the Bells Trans-Siberian Orchestra Style!

Lathy- Yeah, you have to know EXACTALY what you're doing to play woodwinds well. :'D Or else... they sound awful. o_o

Just get a keyboard, pianos are too expensive. Mine was a couple of thousands of dollars and it's just an electric upright. But I adore it so, and I've played for so long.

I would take lessons, but I honestly can't afford it right now. DD:

@Lathrine - lol I HAVE to learn a bunch of instruments since I'm a music major. Not that I mind - I love it :D although the clarinet and I did not mix at ALL. XD I hated playing it and it hated me XDDD

@ILTU: You are epic and I like you. I like that song too, but only with the whale nioses in the background. haha.

@Yotsy: It's not tough, hell I can play it. (guitar) I'm currently memorizing Beethoven's moonlight sonata which is kinda hell on the guitar, but it's not as tough as it is at first.

@Tilly:
Sounds like a plan to me. Maybe I can use a random piano at school =]

Ahh, well I'm sure you can teach yourself. After all, you are quite knowledgeable in music and instruments.

Maria; Lol, I wish you luck with your major! :'D I... don't really have any goal that requires knowing to play a bunch of instruments. D| Except if I go through with my plan of being a bard. I just want to be able to play them. c:

Hello everybody!

I wonder if I know anybody here. I thought I should join the eldest lady's group.
`laughs`
It somehow seemed appropriate in my case.

I'm super wary of woodwinds. Because my brother thinks he's beast at recorder. He... is not. *coughhesuckscough*

Hello there, Granny! <3 Long time no visit! c:

Maria; Exactly. :'D I... I fell in love with bards upon watching the Return of the King animation years ago. D: I've clung to it since. In my mind, bards are pretty much the coolest thing ever.

Rommy; Thank you! :3
Oh... oh dear. XD *hugs*

Oh I know, the violin is actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it. I used to play. I wasn't advanced at it but I could play. The teacher I had that did nothing but instruct the class for concerts annoyed me and I wound up quitting the school's orchestra. Once I quit I locked up my violin and haven't touched it since. The teacher was one of those ones who couldn't play any of the strings and made a point of telling everyone she knew what she was doing when she didn't really. She even made a boy cry in class because he wasn't learning how to play the cello fast enough to be in any of the concerts... That woman was a terrible, terrible woman.

Yeah definitely. Bumming off of people is the best way to go, because I didn't buy a guitar until I knew I really liked playing. It was just like... I don't want to buy this 500$ instrument and get bored of it.

Maria; Eras have no effect on my mind, apparently. Because I seem to think that I could actually get by being a bard. XD Maybe I'll be like... a part time bard or something. :'D

V33p; :'D Yay, I'd have one listener at least. x3

Rommy; I'll bet. :'D

@Yotsy: That's AWFUL. I've always had the nicest music teachers, that's why I pursued it from a young age. How expensive are violins? I know my cheap guitar has lasted me years, but aren't violins much tougher to get?

@Tilly: lol, mine was 100$ and has lasted me 3-4 years thus far. it's not too steep if you know the right people. haha
