The dog we have now, bless her, she's gettin on a bit but when she barks she sounds big and nasty and whenever I'm alone in the house and someone knocks on the door she won't stop barking and growling no matter what I say but when I'm not alone she shuts up first time. It's like she's going "try anything and I WILL eat you!"

Lets see in my life I've had, Two cats, One dog in one town, two cats two dogs in another and here I've had six cats, i only have two now and one dog 'nods'.

Puppies are adorable. Kodoku is right, a real pain to potty train (mine is 2 1/2 and still hasn't totally got it - occasionally she'll still pee on the floor just for spite, rotten little brat), but at least they're cute. XD; |

@Amani: Lol. Sounds like my little brother when he was 3-5 xDD Now he just wets the bed every now and again xDD We've had a few dogs during my life time, and a few cats too. Cat's are easier to take care of since they don't require potty training, just the occasional cleaning of the litter box, but they're not as loving as dogs... Dogs are so cute how they want to be around you all the time and play xDD

I find cats just as loving as the dogs I've had. Not right away though, generally you have to earn a cats love. They do like to ignore you though, mine do if I do something they dislike they turn their back on me and ignore me till they think I've learnt my lesson. :XD

I love them both ^^ They're so cute when they get along too xDD When I was really little, my grandparents had a cat and a dog that would both cuddle up together to sleep in the dog house xDD
