Yep, I do believe it was being developed. In fact, if you type in certain names (such as Yumeh), they'll sometimes show up as links to this - they're broken, but they're still amusing when you mouseover them. XD

I can't wait until we get to see this completed. :squee:

From what I gather, Temmon just up and gave up on the avatar creator.

It'd be nice to have one that doesn't need to be downloaded, though. ;<

Yeah, it's pretty much a lost cause at this point, I think. Temmon gave it up and won't take it on for free again (due to ungrateful people and way too much work), and Spring doesn't really have time to keep updating it.

My idea, though it'd probably cause a lot of server strain, would be to just make a mirror of the curent avatar system where everyone has every item in their "inventory" in drawers organized by store or by layer. Unfortunately...as stated, it'd create a good bit of server strain. :sweat: So I'm not gonna officially suggest it or anything.

I'm rather shocked that Tem wanted money to continue with the avitar creator in the first place. :/

Well, there was a nasty issue wth people being rather ungrateful for it...not realizing how much work it was to keep up, being all "RAWR UPDATE NOW RAWR RAWR RAWR!" and basically just...un-Mene-like. :\ I'm more upset with those people than anyone else. The impatient ones are probably the ones who brought on the lack of update issues we have now, ironically.

I'm hoping we can get someone who can keep up a good browser-based avatar simulator with regular updates sometime in the future, but...yeah, as of right now...we've kinda got issues. :sweat:

Yeah, even with just the older items, it's fun to play with and still useful. ^_^ And hey - it's a downloadable thing that I can use. I'm a Mac user - I'm damn limited on downloadable internet shit, so it makes me feel really good to be included. XD

Edit: @Jessi: Yeah, I don't think people even realized what they were doing when they got like that. It was really awful though.
I just hope nothing of the like happens again. .__.;
