total; hmm.. i wouldn't say that. ^^; i migrate between many different sites, but i believe neopets was my first total website/forum based game. LOL. then gaia, then i went to a site called magivolve and then here. :3

yeah, Gaia really sold out fast when you think about it. And talk about inflation. I logged on the other day only to discover that the few items I owned were worth 3 to 5 times what they were worth when I quit the site for a while.
But It has become overly commercial. Its basically become a faceless, Soulless organization that only wants money and nothing else...I had a gwee before I was banned too though...It was pretty cute xP

@Wish: Oh, i played neopets for a month >_>. I found out gaia in 05. My youngest sister was obsessed about it for some reason, and really it was way better than what it is now.

I'm glad I didn't put down any time on Gaia. I've tried Roliana briefly, but I just can't find the same winning formula there or on any avatar site. I think the user base tends to be a bit more grown up. I mean you still get the teens hanging around, which is cool, but then you get the other age groups wandering about and it's more intellegent conversation for the most part.

about Gaia: I like the items and the avatars, but it's sad that most of the new items are only sold for real money <_<

If anything, i'd say that most of the new people we're getting are all from Gaia.

I had fond memories of gaia. Until I got banned for being "associated" with an account that was hacked and then banned. They saw fit to ban me too for some profound mystical reason.

Yah I keep on worrying with every new wave of members whether the quality of the user base is going to go down hill. What I'm hoping is the bad apples won't find any reason to stick around, and we'll be left with the quality newbies and the great people we got going now. Saying that I've only been around here for about 5 months now myself. :sweat:

@wish: I go there still. I wasn't that active till 07 really. I made large amounts of gold and made my way through 04 and 03 MCs. The only problem beside the massive amounts of cash is all the new people who're logging in. They be shocked by the demands of the website and start on retard mode, i'd say. It's not good.
